After She Became a Lady by Wareeze Woodson – Review By Betsy Melano

After She Became a LadyAfter She Became a Lady by Wareeze Woodson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Laurel is 17 and is in love with Lord Laningham. Her aunt, who is her guardian, is worried about Laurel, who is young and impressionable. Of course a gentleman like Lord Laningham could take advantage or put Laurel in a terrible situation she isn’t capable of managing.
Finally Laurel’s aunt gives permission. What Laurel doesn’t expect is the way Lord Laningham’s family, specifically his twin sister treats her, after he leaves to fight in a war in Spain. Will Laurel be able to survive her sister in law’s hostility while Lord Laningham returns from the war?
