Bees in Loretta’s Bonnet (Loretta’s Insects) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Karen Pearman

Bees in Loretta's Bonnet (Loretta's Insects #2)Bees in Loretta’s Bonnet by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a wonderful, entertaining, and educational story this is. I have never been a fan of bees because I have been stung many times, but this book did provide me with knowledge to help appreciate bees and what they do for our environment. The author does such an excellent job teaching kids about bees and pollination. There are even instructions at the end of the book that tell how to make a bee nest to attract wild bees into your yard. Not only does this instruct children but it’s a great way for their parents to get involved in helping them learn. The illustrations were as amazing as all her books are. Please share this book with your kids.
