I’ve always loved Shadow when she appeared in other books. I am beyond thrilled that she finally has her own book. I always wondered what her story was. OMG what a story! This woman has been through hell and somehow made it back. It’s a wonder that she is still somewhat sane. I have a really strong stomach but when I read some of the things that she went through, I can honestly say, I had a hard time. The horrifying fact is that these things happen, women and children abused by traffickers. It’s disgusting and horrendous.

I’m so excited that Panther has entered her life. After everything that she has been through, she deserves some happiness. He has the strength and patience to break through her walls bro let her know that he loves her and will never hurt her. Before they can even see where the relationship can go, Shadow’s psychotic past rears it’s ugly head. Can she survive this time or will this finally be her end?
