This is the third book in the Madame Chalament Ghost Mysteries series. The book takes Elinor and Tristen on an adventure full of intrigue while they search for a missing nobleman’s daughter. The addition of Twyla, an fairly inexperienced apprentice brings the reader to understand Elinor more. The author has an amazing talent of world building and takes us readers on a amazing adventure along side the characters. I have read many books by this author and I’m never disappointed. I love Elinor’s strength, knowledge, charm, and so much more. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I feel like I will have a better understanding as to what drives the main characters. However, you get a good feel for that in the book, I just liked it so much that I need to know more. I highly recommend this book if you like organized crime, mysteries, thrillers, and just good suspense.

5 Stars Braving Lily (True Platinum Series Book 7) by Morgana Bevan
Braving Lily us a wonderfully written Rockstar Romance and is part of the True Platinum Series which can be read as a standalone as each book in the series focuses on a different couple. While this author is fairly new to me the other books I’ve read have been wonderful this one is definitely my favorite yet. I have a soft spot for opposites attract and Rockstars. The storyline flowed so well that I felt everything the characters were going through. The characters are fun relatable and fully developed. There is definitely chemistry between the main characters and hesitation at first. Can a Rock Star and IT have a relationship? Can he open his heart again? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I literally read this in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen next. I definitely look forward to reading more from this Author.

I loved this book; the story was well written, and I was so invested in these characters it was great to read. Abby knew what she wanted and went straight after it and the banter between her, and Nate was a joy to read. I loved the secondary characters of Capshaw and Jane and the pull between them through the book, I hope something happens or they both get a happily ever after.
I can’t wait to read the next book and also see how Abby and Nate got on with the baby.

This trilogy is a 5 star read. I was pulled into each story and didn’t want to stop reading until I was done. All of the characters added a great element to the stories. We do get some very mature and steamy moments. We get steaminess, cheating, age gap and so much more. Sweet Temptations was the age gap babysitter read. Temptation was high in this one. The Boss’s Daughter this one has black mail, when Richard is caught cheating on his wife. Will the Boss’s daughter keep his secret? Menage a Trois, this one opens up a whole bunch of secrets. Richard finds out some desires that his wife has had. And it quickly takes a spin when the babysitter gets involved. This series is definitely for 18+ and if you don’t like cheating this isn’t for you. I had not read the first book in the series, but I will be remedying this immediately as book two was amazing. The author did a great job of sharing details from the first book, but not so much that I feel the story was spoiled. Nadine was an amazing heroine and her chemistry with Wicks was electric and the steamy factor was off the charts. He was such an amazing lead male who was sweet and sexy. He was such a supportive and caring guy which threw me, because I was expecting such a cocky guy, but he was just such a sweetheart. Nadine had such a rough go with her now ex and seeing her get such a fabulous guy, made it such an amazing story. I loved the title of the book, it cracked me up. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series and by the author.
I’ve heard and read a lot of different Hansel and Gretel stories, but this one was fantastic. I found it really cool how Gretel drew pictures of the animals and landscape along the way. The whole alteration of the original story was interesting to see unfold, especially when accountability was shown. Fantastic job ❤️

A fun, easy read. I enjoyed this one in a different way than the first book in the series. The writer creates an easy flow with the story, told from alternating view points of the female characters from opposing pairs. The premise of the book is fun and you feel the emotion driving them, especially Jas in trying to help Her dad. They are likable despite their chosen paths throughout the story. The storyline is unique and I haven’t read anything quite like it and enjoyed the way it was presented.
This book can be read as a standalone and is a quick, action-packed read. I continue to find this author’s work to be engaging and entertaining!

I fell in love with this series with Talisman, & even as out of order as I’ve now read Rogue, I feel like I haven’t missed anything. Each individual character is so different from the others, in thought processes & opinions & mannerisms – truly an amazing accomplishment! With steamy sexy scenes, exciting battles, adventurous vibes, & a little magic going a long way, I’ll thoroughly enjoy devouring every single word in every single book just as much as I did this one!

This is a really cute reimagined Hansel and Gretel. I liked the fact that the witch turned out nice. I recommend this book to anyone with children who love to read. It is a cute little story and a fun read. I have read other stories by this author and have liked them all. If you are interested in new books for your children I recommend this author and this book.
Jasmine, determined to get her father the treatment he desperately needs as hes quickly running out of time decides to pull off a criminal and questionable stunt on her sleazy boss to make a quick payday, however someone else is also looking for a quick payday and the story evolves from there without giving too much away. This story is fast paced, characters are well developed and have a “real” quality to them, and can be comical, witty and do ridiculously dumb things all in the same chapter. This is a multi pov story which also kept my attention. Well done 2nd story in this series that kept my attention as well as the first

This is the second book in The Millersville series, and Susan continues her marvelous way of creating an unforgettable story. What a useful tool and helpful guide to those inspired to write a historical novel. Our imagination and inventive words only take us so far as writers can go but to write a novel within the grasp of a historical novel takes work and focus to bring our stories to life. Clark, a historical novelist, has used her previous works as not only examples but also using the works of many historical novels in bringing understanding to different aspects the writers need to be aware of when bringing historical components to their own novel. Old sayings and languages as well as place setting with events were some pinpoints she would describe its significance. Also having our story and characters and placing them into the historical setting and adding detail only the way with concepts of clothing, education, etc. Such a great read and definitely keeping this one as a future reference!

This book is an incredible resource for all people interested in writing historical fiction. I was intrigued once a read the title and decided to read it right away. The author did an excellent job explaining the process and also clarifying that there’s many ways to get it done and this book is what works for her personally. The author did a great job encouraging the reader throughout the book. Even if you are not interested in writing historical fiction or not interested in writing, this book still a great tool. I highly encourage anyone who loves writing to read this book.

I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THIS HOW-TO NOVEL! From the moment I opened the book, it felt like I was sitting with a friend discussing options on how to get my book started. The way the author has written it is easy to understand and how to consider all the items needed when writing Historical Fiction. They rely heavily on their knowledge of British history and sprinkle random trivia through the centuries. One of my favorite tidbits is about the sanitation aspect throughout history! This book really made a point of knowing everything you can about the era your character lives in and things to think about! I’ve been dying to write something over these last few years and now I have a way to get started. I definitely appreciated the formatting chapter. My brain needs to understand how to best use the font, page layout, and what effects when working with different styles. As I said previously, this author makes it feel like you are over for tea and she is pumped to see you achieving your writing goal! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for guidance from a friend!

What an emotional read but so very well written. Usually with emotional reads I need to take several breaks, so it can take days to weeks to read from beginning until end, fortunately this was very much unlike the rest. I was very engaged from beginning till end. Although this was a nonfiction novel, it felt so real, as if I was reading her story. The writing truly was captivating.

This was a really informative read! I have no plans or interest really in writing s historical romance novel but for anyone out there who is I would definitely recommend picking this book up! I thought the advice was really good and seemed informative to me. I took some of the tips that I feel I can apply in my everyday life. This is the 2nd book to the Millersville Series, and while the books can be read as a standlone I so highly recommend both books so much! This book was fast paced crime thriller from a gem of an author and so happy to discover. This story was gripping, had me at the edge of my seat, heart racing, jaw dropping moments with all kinds of twists and tangles.
Jasmine wants to do right by her father as she has promised to save money to help pay for medical treatments that her father so desperately needs. Believing the plan would work and take money from her employer, who is shady as heck, in turn backfires. When Jasmine and her friend, Phil, are robbed of their own money they stole by other criminals, the pursuit is on to take back money they stole in turn.
Along the way tow drive get involved in mix to help Jasmine and his mother trying to track down Bets and Zerk, whom are the criminals whom stole the money from Jasmine and Philip.
Will Jasmine be able to outsmart Bets and Zerk, take back the money she stole to save her father?

The friendly manner in which she has chosen to voice her book makes it easy to read and understand. It’s very clear that time and energy has been put into writing this book so that the reader/aspiring writer can set themselves up for success. TL Clark has 10 years of experience in writing and publishing as well which helps the reader establish a connection to the author as well. If you want to write a historical novel, this is a wonderful tool to have in your back pocket!

After they do meet for the first time, both of them are intrigued with each other and decide to try a real date. While the two didn’t start on a great footing, they quickly start to really enjoy each other’s company. Lily is giving him feelings he hasn’t felt in quite some time, he finds himself trusting her very easily. He provides a private life and a non-caring about her fame mentality that makes her quickly fall for him. However, the problem both face is she is leaving for a year long tour so they try to keep it casual, but that is hard to do when feelings get involved. Can they both get over their past and present livelihoods to let this love story bloom? I liked this story a lot. I liked how it started with a girl going after what she “wants”, but the guy not wanting her just because she is famous. They advance quickly in their dynamics and I love how there was no bull in the story. The author kept it straightforward, always moving, with one issue, and a solution. I feel that while they experienced miscommunication, she kept that part short and sweet so I didn’t get pissed at the characters. I thought the characters were great. Lily was a strong, but vulnerable girl who goes after what she wants and doesn’t apologize for it. However, she is also caring and honest about her life. Rhys was also a strong, caring, honest character. He was upfront about his expectations, and while he had insecurities, his confidence was sexier. I will also mention that the sex scenes were just spicy enough for a nice romance-type story.

As someone who has often debated and wanted to write a history text TL Clark lays out the fundamentals in a clear and concise way anyone can follow. One of the best parts of this book is that it serves as a blueprint for how to write a historic novel while giving examples from their own writings. The author even gives tips and tricks for after you have finished writing your novel on how to navigate the tricky world of marketing and getting your novel published. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that would want to get their feet wet and dabble in the field of writing their own novel whether it be a historic novel or any other genre.

Ale’s Fair in Love and War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance is the first book in Love on Tap series. I always enjoy books by this author, and I was glad to grab a new book by her. This is a fun enemies-to-lovers romance. Cash owns a local brewery with his brother, and his arch-enemy Hollis owns the dog grooming business next door. The two have developed a mutual dislike of one another. The snark between them and the pranks they pull are great. You can feel the sparks growing between them. When they join forces to save Cash’s business, they are a power to be reckoned with. I enjoyed the characters and the back-and-forth between them. This is an entertaining romantic read with a HEA. I look forward to grabbing the next book in this series. With this author, I’m always guaranteed a good book.

I love rockstar romances! They’re one of my favorites! I instantly knew I was going to love this book and I’m SO glad I read it. Also it’s my first rockstar romance I’ve read where the rockstar is female. I LOVED IT!!!!! Amazing characters and I just all around loved the story. Can be read as a standalone so I’ve only read this book in the series. I’ll definitely be checking out the others! If you want a book with angst, second chances, opposites attract type of romance book, this is for you!

A dress to remember by K.L. Small is a story full of magic and love. The magical experience of it being a children’s story made it all that more enjoyable.
Strong-willed For her birthday in two weeks, Princess Zarina desires a unique outfit for the Royal Promotion Ceremony. She bargains with an enigmatic dressmaker for a ball gown that will be remembered by all. For her, the dressmaker fashioned a stunning black gown. Zarina had not anticipated this clothing, though. Even more so when fire fairies twirl over the skirt.
Zarina becomes stuck within the enchanted dress after the arrangement with the dressmaker goes awry. She is on her own to make it back to the castle. But, attackers overrun the country and slay the King and Queen. Zarina the Princess must avoid being taken.
Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a very unique story with even more one of kind characters. The story really transports you into their world. I couldn’t put the book down.
