This is the first book I have read from this author and wow she has me hooked. I love a good paranormal romance story and this book exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the new protector wolf shifter series and let me say I can’t wait to see who she will write about next.

Tamaska loves her job and the people that she meets. She is put in charge of one of the most important jobs of her life and it was stolen. Tamaska hired Kodiak and his crew to watch over the opal for the night. She has no idea who could have taken the opal without being seen. Tamaska is about to learn that Kodiak and the others are keeping a secret but would it be worse if she knew? Will Tamaska find the opal or will it be too late and the world as she knows it will end?

This is the second book of the series, Wilf  is a wizard who really doesn’t want to be a wizard. He just wants to be a normal teenager. His stepsister, Maya, is facing some serious problems because of an experiment that she performed with two other wizards. I am still reading this book and I am thoroughly enjoying the thoughts of what would happen if it actually happened. How would you feel if you were a wizard and witches wanted to hurt you because you destroyed a magical veil that separated your worlds? Would you want to not be a wizard anymore either? If you have read The Virus of the Beauty you definitely need to continue the series to see where it leads. I can’t wait to read book 3!!!!

I really ended up becoming invested in these characters lives. It was a slow start and a bit choppy at the beginning but as the story moved along I really had hopes for these two.

The back and forth between these two is one of the things I enjoy about this book. They are snarky towards each other until sparks happen when they touch. Then the friendship becomes a quest and could turn into a possible relationship. Each of these characters is resisting the growth they need to become open to love.

This book has a great romance but also there is a best friend story mixed in. This is usually a side story and while it is in here too the author does a great job showing the difficulties of a bestie being the opposite sex. There is also a nice group of secondary characters. They are involved enough to become likable and possible future books.

Overall I ended up really enjoying this story. Its one I read quickly and in the early morning hours. I do look forward to the next in the series. There is a sneak peek in the back of this one.

Now that she starts the Exchange it takes her to another spin of life to get someone back to her. Just because life does not your plan does not mean you take the easy path.

Engaging magical trilogy
This is the complete trilogy.
The first is a short novella “Coyote’s Road Trip” is a unique story with shapeshifters, drama and mystery based in a dystopian world. It takes the reader on a journey told by Coyote. The author has done a fantastic job of bringing the reader into Coyote’s mind and interweaving the world as interpreted by him. There are a lot of layers to the story that will appeal to many readers from climate change to grief and finding happiness in the smallest of things.
“Raven Woman’s Tavern” is a short dark tale which features many characters all trying to survive. I liked the character Raven, she is always observing everyone and everything and has a sense of justice.
“A Mountain in the Air” is the third instalment and brings everything together. I felt a lot of emotions reading this one as it draws closer parallels to our world and the struggles with climate change, habitat destruction, survival and animal migration.
A worthy read.

Saving the Gingerbread House by Lois Wickstrom is a wonderful picture book packed full of wonderful topics to talk to your child about. The first thing that stood out to me is that you should always know your way home- the crumb trail. Another thing that children should be taught is not to wander away from their parents because it is not safe. I love how Wickstrom has created such an outstanding retelling of Hansel and Gretel. The illustrations and storyline works well together, and are entertaining for children.

Ale’s Fair in Love and War is a wonderfully written RomCom/ Enemies to Lover’s Romance that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I finished. I pretty much devoured this book in one afternoon. I loved everything about this book the bantering back and forth and how they were rivalries to an extent. The chemistry was off the charts and these two knew exactly what buttons to push on the other. But when Cash’s business could be at risk to be shut doen these two pull together to try and save his bar. This is where the story gets very interesting. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

The details lend a realism to the book and starting with a winter scene gives it a cold and dreary beginning. I am looking forward to reading more from Winter Austin!

Stunning Stunning Stunning Cover!!! This is book #2 of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC series and it this author did NOT disappoint!!! Danger, struggles, scars….this story had it all I believe that this book could be read as a standalone…I soooo recommend reading the first book this series in order to get to know the characters.

Zoey aka “Shadow” is more of the enforcer to the Devil’s Handmaidens MC…but she is consumed by demons. What Shadow endured in her lifetime if beyond comprehension and it about broke me. Allowing others “in” and trust is difficult for her and that includes when she starts to become involved with Panther…..Panther knows all to well about inner demons and being with Shadow does not deter him from wanting her. Panther and Shadow work to uncover illegal traffic rings, will they be able to work together while trying to get past inner demons and possibly learn to heal?

I so recommend this series……this story just gutted me at times….the roller coaster of emotions that I feel with Shadow and Panther…..I am speechless…..but I am looking forward to the next installment…I am totally invested and all in!!

This book is three stories in one and they weave together wonderfully. This isn’t a genre I would nearly read but the originality and captivating stories kept me turning the pages. There are quite the array of characters in these stories that make this more interesting and bring you further into the depths of the storylines. The author writes in such a way that I felt I was taken on a majestic journey. The details make it so you feel as though you’re right there in the story. I enjoyed reading these short stories.

The characters were well thought out and well executed and as a daughter i could relate to the willingness to do whatever it took for my dad. This novel wrung my emotions and had me all over the place, and I definitely sat with my thoughts for a long while after reading. The ending was everything i hoped for and more! It was a thrilling book that had you racing to the end and was well worth the read. I cant wait to see what the author has next!

I really enjoy this genre of novel. Mystery, intrigue and a whole lot of entertaining. Inspector Scala gives us all the dog with a bone dectective skills. The way the story opened up and was so much more than it initially seemed was great! I devoured this book and couldn’t help but to get to the end by all means necessary! I enjoyed the book thoroughly and am very interested in seeing what the first three in the series entail as this one was a hoot! Such a fun thrilling murder mystery read!

His Protector was different. Not a bad different though, I enjoyed it. It has suspense, thrills, mystery, heartache, and romance. In saying that I can easily say, the author keeps you hooked once you’re on the line. It’s a story written that I could see being a movie. It gives you that kind of feel.
Jack has just lost everything he holds dear, while in the final months of his presidential campaign. How can he move forward, he knows he’s the best guy for the job but tragedy is holding him back. That is till a second attempt is made on his life. In tragedy comes perseverance and that’s exactly what he’s going to prove.
Agent Ginger Craver has been assigned to lead the detail to protect Jack Amborn and she believes these attempts on his life are connected but how can she prove it, when everyone else feels they are random. Once he’s elected President Amborn is now her number one priority. But what happens when the man she took an oath to protect, becomes the man that takes hold of her heart. It’s a weakness that she can’t let go. So she stays by his side despite how she feels.
This book is written across a 5 year or so period showing the reader the ups and downs of life. On top of that of being president and having to deal with that enormous responsibility as well.
It’s a wonderfully written story that will have you rooting for Agent Craver. I know I was!
Can she separate job and feelings?
What if Jack feels the same way?
Jump into this with an open mind and you may very well see the movie play out in your mind like I did.

I was excited when I found out this book was coming out. Especially since I already read the other 3 in the series. Don’t get me wrong the Pierce Brothers books are a series, but Cry Baby and the other 3 work very well as standalone novels. And guess what the author didn’t let me down. Noah’s story is probably my favorite!
I feel like I have an affinity for characters that are portrayed in a way as a recluse. I feel like they grow the most by the time the book comes to an end. Noah fits that mold and then some. His growth was slow but written beautifully.
With the unexpected death of his best friend Noah has been left as the current guardian of her 7 months old daughter Amelia. He has no idea where to begin, it doesn’t help he’s in mourning either. So if you’ve read the other books it’s no surprise that the Pierce brothers come to the rescue, while bringing an angel along with them.
Amy is called in for her affinity for children, and her and baby Amelia immediately develop a kinship. However Amy as much as she wants to help is battling past demons that are coming to the surface based on the situation. Lucky for her she’s good as plastering on a smile and hiding them. Taking a risk and becoming Noah’s nanny becomes a trying task.
Noah sees a lot of himself in Amy, despite walking around as grump and her sunshine demeanor, he can see she’s had a rocky past. That kinship is what brings him closer to her, but is their pasts going to bring them together or be their undoing.
This series is great and I’ll reiterate in saying this book is the best one. But prove me wrong, jump into this book and series and decide for yourself. Trust me when I say, you will be hooked. You will also want more!

The story is told from both Jasmine’s and Bet’s side and the side characters add so much entertainment. If you like suspenseful thrillers, then this is the book for you.

Everyone falls for Mina and Viv right away. Especially Isaac.
Cannot wait to see where else the author goes with this series. Looking forward to more

This was a very interesting fantasy novel that brought a unique twist to the wizarding world! I really enjoyed reading this book and learning about each of the characters background story throughout this book, which brought the story together. The twists and turns of the first book of this series made for a very gripping story line and kept you wanting more! I could not put this book down and wanted to read it as fast as I could just to know what would happen next! I really enjoyed how in this wizarding world magic is a little different and witches and wizards are fighting for their rights, it really empowers women today to keep fighting for their rights and what they deserve. I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the next book of this series!

This is an urban fantasy novel with a bit of an apocalyptic vibe. A black mist descended on earth which brought to life monsters. Most of the human race was eradicated. The few that remained formed clans in an effort to protect themselves. Females possessed magic and the men became warriors. Zoe always had a different view on life. She was able to see the bigger picture. She always wanted to be a warrior. What good was magic if you didn’t know how to fight and protect yourself? Biding by society’s rules, she is placed at the academy to weird her magic. But what happens when she falls in love with a creature of the night?

This author has a very creative imagination. I have read many of her books. Although this was not one of my favourites, the story is interesting and enjoyable.

TL Clark has given the reader a wonderful book with resources and tips, that is written in an easy-to-understand way. She gives honest advice in a sometimes-humorous way. This book is by no means, boring or hard to understand.
I enjoyed reading this book and found some new insights and ideas for my own writing. If you are looking for a starting point for writing your own historical novel, I suggest reading this book.

This is a historical western, something I don’t normally read. But this story caught my interest. I am happy I took the time to read this one. Christopher and Greta are both in love. Yet they don’t want anybody to know. They fight their feelings for as long as they can. Being in a interracial romance was looked poorly upon. Then add the age gap and the times well it’s a struggle for all. This author has written a story of two unlikely people coming together and fighting all odds. Both the main characters are protective as well as heroes in my book. The story is quick yet complete as well as a great addition to this series. I look forward to starting this series from the beginning to see where the author takes us. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This was a really cute book! I enjoyed the illustrations a lot, they were very colorful, detailed and beautiful! This is kind of like a retelling of Hansel and Gretel, without the bad-ish ending and violence towards children. I think this children’s book had a good theme in not judging books by its cover? Something along those lines anyway. Either this was a cute book for children and I highly recommend it!

Sam graduates high school and moved to L.A. to pursue her dreams of being an actress. L.A. nfs up being much harder than she imagined and she has to get a job at a coffee shop. Sam meets Corey goes out a few times with him and ends up moving in. She becomes pregnant not remembering being intimate and Corey makes a deal that she has the baby and he will get her acting career going. Circumstances come about and she decides to run and keep the baby.
Four years later, her son disappears and she tells the police she is sure Corey is involved and makes her have to tell all surrounding the relationship and circumstances that she’s kept private the last four years.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a good mystery, suspense but yet an easy read of that makes sense.
