The Summer I Went Crazy is a thought provoking story that wrenches your gut. When a high school boy is witness to a rape at a party – one that his friends participated in… what does he do? How does he rectify that act within his own heart and mind? The story is hard to swallow because the content is so real – things like this happen more often than we like. The characters in the story hook you in- I could feel their angst and I just wanted to help. This is an emotional read, one I was hooked into right from the first pages.
