Lane has been on the run for decades ever since he was turned. The king wants him dead for feeding off his own kind instead of humans (for which he thought he was doing right)and his council continues to try and find him

The one thing Lane wants is to go home to Ireland where he lost everything. On attempting a journey home he runs into Julia who is the first vampire who doesn’t run scared, or try to kill him. She actually in an odd twist apologizes to Lane.

He doesn’t trust anyone and it’s what’s kept him alive, can he trust Julia and her group of rebels? Will the King catch up to him? Has he finally found a group of people he can rely on.

Another great installment of this series with action and suspense that will keep you turning the pages
