Dan is a truck driver who does not have a license because he cannot read to pass the test. He is suspended and forced to drive with an instructor. He is teamed up with Jake who is a homosexual. Dan does not like this at all. As they drive the miles together, Dan and Jake form a relationship that neither of them expected.
