My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was immediately drawn to the cover of this book because it has my favorite color, purple and intrigues by the synopsis and decided to dive right in. This book has what I love with action, drama and magic with some twists and turns to grab my attention.

Amy tries to hide who she is due to being on the run, making sure that no one gets hurt in the process….but Amy’s past comes back to haunt her. The evil Opal is back, wanting vengeance and in order to get Amy’s attention, Opal takes Amy’s sister captive. Evil has bestowed upon Amy and now Amy must learn to fight back….will Amy prevail over the evil and Opal?

This story had me hooked and I really enjoyed the characters I am looking forward to the next book and also be picking up the prequel as well!
