Bound by the Hinterlands is a beautifully written fantasy romance story that will have you intrigued from the first page. The storyline is captivating, and the scenes are vividly described which draws you into the story along with the characters. The characters are well written, and ones that you will either love or hate. Cressida is someone that you instantly feel a connection with and want to save from her father. Cressida’s father is someone that you instantly dislike because of the horrid way he treats his daughter.
The story centers around Cressida who has been forced into an arranged marriage by her abusive and controlling father. She is upset by this because all she has ever wanted is to be free from her father and venture out on her own.
