Editor Kill Fee was a wonderful murder mystery. It had some intense topics such as drug smuggling, murder and kidnapping, but was pretty light hearted. It maintained the mystery until the very end, but not in a thriller type, more a cozy mystery. There are so many people in this story, with each chapter focusing on the POV of one. It was hard to keep everyone straight in the beginning but by the halfway point, I couldn’t put it down. It sounds like there are previous books, as there is references to other events surrounding both Jim and Taylor, but it was enjoyed as a stand-alone. [ETA- this is book 3 in the Taylor Browning Cozy Mysteries series]. I look forward to reading more if it is a series. I enjoyed the references to the culture and history of New Mexico, you can tell the author did their research.
