I wasn’t expecting to find this novella which continues the Crown of Stones series, so it was a nice surprise. Although it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the Crown of Stone series first to truly grasp the undertones and background.

Once again, the way the author describes the world creates such a vivid picture you can also step into it yourself.

The characters continue their personal growth and its great to see how the relationship between them develops.

I really enjoyed reading this after recently reading the entire Crown of Stones series, it was great to jump back into the world and I hope for more.
