This book is the next installment in the Darkness and Light Duology series but was written as a standalone. This book has got to be my favourite of them so far. I loved immersing myself in this world again and relearning about the characters. It took no time at all for me to be swept up by everything happening. The book was well written, exciting and a pure pleasure to read.
Right from the start, this book was imaginative and refreshing to read. It is so unique compared to other fantasy books I have read and I feel like I could read this series for a long time to come. I would highly recommend this book to any fan of the genre and I cannot wait to see what else this author will produce.
