Planting Hope by Jennifer Raines follows the stories of Nurse Holly Cooper and gardner Kit Silverton as they plant their way to their very own love story.

I loved the fact that the characters seemed real, flawed, and nuanced but still kept the lighthearted feel of a romance while still dealing with hard topics like grief, loss, and domestic violence. The book felt real and left you feeling like hope and love can help you through pain and loss. I can’t wait to pick up another book by this author.
