Twisted Eros (Modern Mythica Book 1) by Aria Skylar – Review by Beverly Finnie

Twisted Eros (Modern Mythica Book 1)Twisted Eros by Aria Skylar
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Twisted Eros was definitely just that, twisted. This book was alright. It got better at the midway point but I was struggling at the beginning. It felt slow and I was confused for a bit. Again like I said it did get better. I enjoyed the story the author was telling.
Eros/Erik and Kay have a strange and sorted past. One where Erik’s mom is very much involved in. A twisted plot of revenge that involved way more parts than expected. Duped into an abducted vacation, Kay has no idea what’s coming her way. It’s the way the author wrote how she persevered was what made me like her character.
Erik is damaged goods. However he just couldn’t resist.
What happens when Kay tries to get too close?
How does she redeem herself?
The author wrote a story that showed amazing growth for the female lead. It also displayed healing for the broken male lead.
if you enjoy twists and turns check it out. It might seem to start off slow, but stick with it. Trust me when I say you’ll be happy you did in the end. It seems to be the promising start to a new series.
