Master Campania (Masters of the Consulate Book 7) by Sylvia Black – Review by Desiree Ottinger

Master Campania: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 7)Master Campania: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Master Campania is not happy that he has witches in his territory, and what is even worse is that they are defectors. When he is tasked with finding them and getting information from them, he can’t help but feel pulled toward one spunky witch in particular. Willow has heard about pure blooded vampires, how dangerous they are, to steer clear and to never trust one. However, as she is forced to help Campania find rogue witches that will in turn lead to rogue vampires, she can’t help but feel like she was lied to. Both have been told witches and vampires should never mix. Yet there is a definite magnetism between the two of them that neither can deny. Or can they? Will they be able to put aside past prejudices and work together to find the rogue witches and vampires?

This was a quick read for me. I have enjoyed reading this series from the beginning, and it was a good addition to the series. I would have liked to have had more story between Campania and Willow. But that is just me wanting to be immersed in their world a little bit longer. It seems like there will be one more book to wrap up the series. I am looking forward to seeing who has taken up the mantle of dissent. There are so many characters in this world that I would suggest reading them in order.
