I loved this book! My own daughter has anxiety and sometimes it can be really hard for her to calm down. Lilly learns to cope with her anxiety throughout this book and I found it to be informative. I love how easy the book is to read and how educational it was. I definitely recommend reading this book.

So nostalgic! Very easy to read and it will get you stuck in your feelings. The authors did a great job with this fun book. I would consider this to be a rom-com type book. I recommend reading this book, you will not regret it.

I have read a few books from this author and she continues to blow my mind on how she writes her characters. My favorite genre is sports romance and she always exceeds my expectations. This book could be read as a standalone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was excited for this book and I started reading it right away. It only took me a full day to read this awesome story. I can’t wait to see what she will write about next.
Wyatt Tompkins is a very well known goaltender. He is a huge player who has no problem with it at all. Wyatt thinks he can’t be touched but he finds himself not playing for a year. He then goes to cool off and hears a woman in trouble. Wyatt goes and helps right away and when he finds out who he saved he is in shock. He helps the PR woman that probably got him in this mess in the first place. Wyatt needs all the help he can get and Serena now owes him one. Will they be able to get what they have wanted all along or will they be too different from another?

I enjoyed this book it was a very easy quick read, and I was drawn in immediately. A sweet, simple, so what steamy, and romantic story though not without its problems thrown into the mix. I love a good quick read but definitely wouldn’t have minded it to be a bit longer. This is the first book I’ve read from this author but I would gladly read more by her.

From the moment you open this book…you are hooked! At least I was! This book was very original, I love the setting and location of the book. Wow! I can’t believe this is book 5 and I’m just finding this series. Leaving No Traces was fantastic! I love these kinds of crime novels. I’m still blown away that this is book 5. That tells you what I’m doing going back to books 1-4. Which also states that though part of a series this reads very well as a standalone. Commissa Scala is a detective I want to follow. I need more of his stories in my life…. lol Anyway in this particular case he ends up in the case of missing person, Simona Ribisi. As well as the whodunit that goes along with it. So many suspects but how to weed them out. Simona had secrets which just increased the suspect pool, making this case harder to solve. Only when some drastic happens that leads to the break in the case Scala was looking for. I figured out rather quickly the who, but the twists and turns the book takes to get there. I loved every minute. The author had me hook line and sinker. I can’t wait to jump into other books in this series, I just hope Scala and his team are at the forefront of them.

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. My heart went out to Angelica and the crap she put up with by the school bully. She of course like many had a little crush on Chase. Things take a not so great twist for Angelica and her senior year was ruined by Chase. We jump ahead to Angelica coming face-to-face with Chase. His nephew is one of her students. There of course is an instant spark but Angelica has her walls up. Will Chase be able to make up for the past and give Angelica the love she deserves?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters added a great element to the story. Some of them made me angry at times. We get drama, suspense, romance and so much more. If you like second chance romance you will enjoy this read. It can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from book one. Bernadette Marie is a first time author for me, but I was absolutely amazed by her writing. The characters she introduces in Liz’s Road Trip were interesting, unique, believable, and realistic. I felt that Liz was the most true to life (even if she annoyed me slightly with her selfishness). Liz had so much emotional baggage to deal with throughout the story and I did not envy her position at all. The element of romance between Liz and Mark was sweet, but also up and down, at least in Liz’s mind. I found this book not only filled with great characters, but an amazing storyline as well. Death is inevitable and dealing with the death of a loved one is often difficult to negotiate. I think Bernadette Marie did a stunning job bringing Liz’s emotions to life. This was one of my favorite reads so far this year and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Lilly Tames Her Worries is a children’s book that children of any age can enjoy. This is a wonderfully written story that teaches children how to handle different situations that may cause anxieties and how to deal with them. The illustrations are colorful and bring the story to life. We are learning how to manage our emotions and this book was a big help. My five year old son has a blankey he takes with him everywhere. The thing is raggedy and I have to sneak to wash it. He says but mom I can’t go to sleep without it. So he related to Lilly and he kept saying as I was reading that it would be ok lilly. He was being encouraging to her and I think he took away more than he realizes. Follow along with Lilly as she learns how to deal with the “heebie- jeebies”. I highly recommend reading this book and we look forward to reading more from this Author.,

This is the first book in Trentbridge Tales series, and it’s off to a fantastic start. Great psychological crime thriller with lots of twists and turns. Its fast paced and kept me guessing, which also made me not want to put it down. I loved Mr. Wood’s writing style it is very impressive. I highly recommend this book.

This book is a trip and a half. The story starts out with the FMC and MMC absolutely hating each other, and then they get stuck in a blizzard together, and become separated for 5 years. There is a miscommunication trope in it, and they’re reunited again, but hating each other, again. There’s a HUGE plot twist thrown into the book, and honestly I spent a good 6 chapters just sobbing over everything. It’s a fantastic book, and I highly recommend. Guaranteed HEA.

I was so excited to get to read book two in this fast paced riveting series. This book picks up right where book one left off and definitely answered some lingering questions I had. The chemistry between Kodiak and Tamaska is very hot and there are some very steamy scenes. The author has done a great job of creating well rounded characters that are fabulous, but also flawed. If you love vampires and shifters set in an urban fantasy setting, this is a fantastic book and series to check out! I can’t wait for book 3 to come out!

This was my first book by the author but definitely will not be my last. I took a shot on this book knowing it was a part of a series, and I was very pleased that I could follow along without having read any others! If you are like me and need a good mystery, you can choose this one! I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series!

Enjoyable, fast paced British crime thriller that had me engaged and turning the pages on what will happen next. The characters were different but interesting for sure. Question yourself….would you feel that luck would be on your side hitting the lottery? Of course!! What if others come out that want a piece of the prize too that are not very good people….interesting….and battle your way to survive.
James Sheldon had a wonderful family with a wife and kids and a great job as a detective. Granting Katelyn is a very good romance novel when you want to escape reality. The story is easy to comprehend. The characters are very relatable, especially Grant and Katelyn. The other minor characters provide an expected feel of the world the main characters are living in. The author has done really well in making the reader feel like they are in the story itself.
A steamy prequel of the younger generation of the Hawk family member. Nolan (Issac Hawk) who has recently graduated from Law School in Chicago meets a beautiful red head in a bar who gives him her name as Jack instead of her real name. The two have one amazing steamy night together. In the morning they can’t seem to let go. Soon it turns into a weekend together will these two who amazingly came together work things out so they can be together? The author did a wonderful job of character and world building.

Sleeping with the Enemy (Astoria Royals Book 3) by Deborah Garland . I loved this book. Its full of hot guys, mafia, and steamy scenes. What;s not to love. Its the story of Riordan who is the Underboss for his brother and that includes trying to calm the Russians down when two of their men are killed. Riordan’s main job is to convince them that the Irish did not have anything to do with it. When he meets Priscilla who is one of the Russians Submissive he can’t take his eyes off her and feels like he knows her from somewhere. She ends up trying to warn him that the Russians are planning on killing him and even tries to save him. He knows she is hiding something and he plans on finding out what it is. When he finds out who she really is, he is shocked and intrigued. He has feelings for her but he’s not sure if she is his enemy or his savior. He is determined to have her in his bed no matter who she is because she has that big of a hold over him. This is a fast paced romance thriller that will keep you reading late in the night.

I absolutely loved this book! Watching the dynamic of the main characters from the start of the book until the end. I could not put it down as I just needed to know what was next. The story is filled with angst and romance as two people go from enemies to friends to enemies to lovers.
Ava is always treated with cruelty from Matthias King. She doesn’t understand why when she gets along so well with his brother, Theo. A small two day fluke happens one winter storm weekend. Ava and Matthias find a bubble of bliss with one another. Without a goodbye the duo don’t meet up again until five years later. No surprise Matthias is back to his cruel treatment towards Ava.

This is the second book in the Hybrid Lovers series but can be read as a standalone. This book focuses on Antoine and Donna’s story.
Donna’s been through a lot, and I really felt for her. She’s very strong despite everything that’s happened; she’s loving, helpful and caring and I could relate to her character. I also enjoyed the way other characters were written and found myself heavily emotionally invested in both Donna and Antoine (but no one captured my heart in the same way Donna did).
The way the author wrote the scenes built tension and emotion whilst simultaneously painting vivid imagery of ongoing events. I also enjoyed the unique elements to the plot making this different and in turn more enjoyable. I love the paranormal romance genre and so loved finding this one provided something refreshing.
I look forward to going back and reading the first in the series and looking out for more from this author!
