This was a wonderful and sweet contemporary romance that I loved from beginning to end. This is a new author to me and I am looking forward to more from this author. Romance, drama, angst, love, fear with spark and sizzle giving me all the feels that I love reading a romance book. Two beautiful souls that were a bit broken with their past that come together in different circumstances.

Morgan is a single dad and a CEO of his own protective service company. Trying to do right for his daughter, Ciara, he does everything to protect Ciara at all costs….even from Ciara’s mother and Morgan’s ex….she spells nothing but trouble. Morgan needs someone to help take care of Ciara while he balances home and job on his own…

Blake is down on her luck, recently losing her job at local university and trying to navigate what is next on the horizon. When Blake’s brother offers Morgan to meet Blake to see if she can help with being Ciara’s nanny…Blake takes up the opportunity as temporary employment until she receives another offer at another university teaching.

When sparks start to fly between Blake and Morgan and passion takes over….there is also hesitation. The past haunting both Blake and Morgan.
