Mia Crane is a young widow who has decided to go to college, returning to Kentucky where she used to spend time with her best friend Mitch for years. That is he was her best friend, until she invited him to her wedding only to never talk to him again. Now Mia is back and Mitch is in front of her, engaged to a woman who quickly sees the chemistry between them. As they rekindle their friendship things begin to happen that causes Mia to almost lose everything she is building. Who is behind it and can she still trust Mitch after all these years?

This was a good story, there is a lot compacted into it. I always enjoy a second chance story and this one definitely fits into this category. I think this would be a great read for a rainy day.
