I picked up this book thinking it is another picture book, but this one is for a slightly older audience, but enjoyable nevertheless.
Four friends are drawn to a toy emporium for different reasons, they are all seeking something which they do not. The toy emporium holds the answers to their longings, imaginary friends, adventures, mystery, drama and danger lurking in the corner.
It is a very creative story where the friends in the toy shop influence the real kids to do something good or evil.
It was quite a cool tale, except that I felt the flow was not smooth at times. There were abrupt changes in the narrative.
But overall I enjoyed it.
