Beautiful Dangerous (Philly Heat Series Book 4) by Becky Flade – Review by Moriah Venable

Beautiful Dangerous (Philly Heat series, #4)Beautiful Dangerous by Becky Flade
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this multiple POV novel, we follow the story of Hannah Patel and Doyle Murphy.

In the aftermath of her brother’s murder, Public Defender Hannah Patel has withdrawn herself, personally and professionally. She is struggling with her brother’s murder a year later and also has to defend herself from a man that is obsessed with her.

Detective Doyle Murphy starts to doubt his career in law enforcement after a fatal error. Who would expect these two people to cross paths?

Doyle Murphy sees protecting Hannah from the man obsessed with her as a form of redemption. When the two start to develop feelings, will they be able to move forward?

I have not read the other novels in this series, but I plan to. I loved the characters and the progression of the relationship. Even more, I loved the suspense and storyline. I am not one to read or watch suspense bodies of work, but the times when I do, I get hooked.

The passing of a loved one is hard. But to lose them so suddenly and through the act of murder, my heart went out to Hannah.

The entire time reading, I did not want to put the novel down. I just wanted to read. With the twists and turns, I did not know which direction the story was going to go in. Now I am going to read the other books.
