Melt My Heart really does melt your heart, totally lives up to its name! This is the 3rd book in the series but can be read as a standalone. Caleb and Wynter come from different backgrounds, but both have their hearts off the table for love. Plus, how can you not love it when they meet over an adorable dog named Reggie that ends up bringing them together! A cute and quick romantic read with wonderful characters. I’m excited to go back and read the other books in this series.

What a truly great start to a new series! It was the cover that first caught my attention. The story inside was just as attention grabbing. A quick read that I could not put down. I cannot wait for book 2!
Birdie is a unique collector of things. She reminds me of my own grandfather with his collection ways. It made the main character even more relatable for me while reading. A ghost for a husband keeping her company. A sister that is her yard saleing treasure hunting partner. Together they work on solving what happened to the body that Birdie found in the dumpster.

Dumpster Dying is a mystery that drew me in originally by it’s cover art. It did not take long before I was pulled into the storyline by the author’s style of writing and enjoyable main character. I really enjoyed the wit and quirky nature of Birdie and the dynamics of her relationships. This book was fun and easy to read with rich imagery, I could imagine being in Birdie’s collection filled home and her fear of losing what comes with it. There was a good balance of action and light hearted humor throughout the book and it made for a great weekend read. I look forward to hopefully reading more from this author in the near future.

I did enjoy this book. There are not many books out there that are about a different kind of shapeshifter making this one more interesting. The story of Trigger and Laramie was full of drama and intrigue and of course love. I enjoy paranormal romance and I recommend this book to everyone who also enjoys that genre. I look forward to reading more from this author and a continuation of this series.
Chasing Cheer was such a cute holiday read! It was such a refreshing story compared to a lot of the other “typical” holiday romance reads. It was such a cute take on your North Pole, Santa Claus Christmas story. You may read this story and know exactly how it’s going to end but that doesn’t stop you from wanting to finish it. The story was full of all the festive holiday feels as if you were right there in Emerald Hollow with Holly and Ash. Super cute!

After reading Tequila Sunrise, I knew I wanted to read more from Kathryn Dodson. The audio version of Podcast Chronicles is read by Katie Hagaman, and I felt she read the part of Sue Cleary spot on- a determined woman, with a human side as she tries to save her town. I felt Katie captured the “can-do” attitude (with some hiccups) and growth mindset and resilience Sue’s character showed. The narration was also stellar and capturing the wide range of emotions Sue goes through, from her marriage to politicians to fellow town citizens. I would recommend the audiobook to anyone interested in standing up for what is right, for believing in a cause, and I personally enjoyed how the cause was environmental and saving hometown values.

Tang Young is a writer who is trying to make it big. Struggling with writer’s block, she decides to get a drink from the bar where she meets Dee. They hit it off immediately and even though Tang has a girlfriend, they start an affair. Flash forward to the present day and news of a single person car crash is told to Tang. She hasn’t heard from Dee so she starts to wonder if the victim is actually Dee.
In her investigation to find out more about Dee, Tang finds out way more than she expects. Dee is not at all who she thought she was.
The book alternates between present day and flashbacks of both Dee and Tang’s life so you can get a feel of both characters and see their affair start. The author did an amazing job implementing suspense and romance. The author also does a great job portraying Tang’s guilt and shame.
This book wasn’t really my cup of tea. It was a really good book, however, and I am happy to have given it a chance.

Safe Harbor is Book 5 in the Logan McKenna Series and I am really enjoying this series as I read each book, I have to admit so far this is my favorite. I love that the author gives a read who loves crime thrillers, like myself, twists and turns with drama and suspense that had me until the end. Already looking forward to reading the next book…..I highly recommend reading this series. It is very good!
Logan is finally able to take a well deserved time away vacations with her family and what happens when trying to enjoy time away….. not only one death but two!! Trying to figure out who is responsible, Logan also has to prove her innocence along the way. Will Logan be able to figure out this murder puzzle and prove she is not guilty of the crimes? From the moment I started reading this book I knew it was going to be one I enjoyed. I loved the characters and their teacher/ protegee reaction ship, however reluctant it seemed to be at times. The dymmnamic between them was great and I found it highly entertaining. The book itself is well written. The storyline is well developed and interesting to read. It didn’t feel like any other time travel book I have read which is great. This was a brilliant story and I am looking forward to reading more from this series.

This book is a fun and entertaining story with such a brilliant character leading the way. The author has created a great story with an eclectic cast. Birdie is funny, strong and just a joy to read. The is 2nd book in the Toronto Time Agents Series. I do really recommed you read them in order so you get a full understanding of the characters and their roles.It is a travel adventure that is filled with twists and turns and danger around every corner. The author does an amazing job of taking the reader back in time to eras go by and really immersing them in that time period. The author’s research and descriptions of the time periods the characters find themselves in really brings the whole story to life. This story starts with a bang quite literally when an explosion happens destroying the time machine next door to Wilda’s shop. Not only destroying the machine but every item of historical clothes that Wilda has made for all the time travelling customers. As a former agent she is used to dealing with terrorist past and present so when she is requested to take her new trainee on a mission the last thing she wants is to be thrown back into the dangers of time travelling to times unknown. With dangers attempting to harm her in the present, a time machine not exactly working as it should, terrorists to stop in the past and a trainee who doesn’t have a clue Wilda certainly has her work cut out to keep the time lines untouched, people safe and the present unaffected in negative ways.
This is truelly a captivating read that will have the reader gripped from the first page. I can’t wait to see what else the author has in store for us.

I need to stop saying that this is my favorite book in this series because every time I read the next one its just as good as all the rest. This is like the past came and bite Logan, and now she has to get to the bottom of everything in order to sort it all out. This book was filled with suspense, drama, lies, and an amazing female role that is string, intelligent, independent, and all-around amazing women. The twists and turns really make it hard to pout down again and I loved every minute of it.

Once again this author impressed me with her writing skills. In this children’s story, there is a big red monster hiding under the bed. As the little one tells her brother, he says there are no monsters. When she confronts the monster, he says he is hungry because if he does not get chores he will eat her. Read this story to find out what happens next. This is such a cute story. Children will love this bed time story. It is a fast read, yet interactive. It also introduced chores, I love it!!

What another incredible story to this series. I like the aspect that every book Logan some type of problem that she needs to solve, and she doesn’t stop till she gets the answers. Every book has some type of crime involved in it. Once again Logan finds herself trying to solve a crime and seems to get her into trouble. It was filled with suspense, crime, murder, twists and turns that kept me in the edge of me seat again. it was hard to really out this one down. I think out of the books I have read this one was my favorite even thou they are all different in their own ways. The plot of this book really kept you wanting to know what was going to happen next. The character development was great, and we got to look into Logans life a little bit more. The visualization this book created for the settings made me feel like i was right there with them in the story. Highly recommend this book.

C.N. Jackson brings us a new book in the Toronto Time Agents where history, time travel and adventures are abounded. Threads of Time is the second book in this series the first book being Time Tourist Outfitters, Ltd. Both are a unique and interesting read. Wilda cracks me up. She is stubborn, wilful, definitely not a push over and she says what she thinks. I forgot how much I loved her and her witty banter from the first book. Time traveling is her life’s work, and she loves it but it’s time for her to focus on training others (or so she says) but of course nothing is ever straightforward when it comes to Wilda and time travel. It is a time where you can time travel to anywhere and time you want to go to. It is a tense, suspenseful and mysterious read with a lot of historical elements. C.N. has woven a tale where her narrative so very vivid you can easily imagine all that she describes. Join Wilda as she travels to the 1850’s to investigate terrorists who have taken everything away from her. But is it only terrorists that she has to face or is it something much worse? If you like historical time travel adventures, then you will need to get your hands on this book to find out.

Dumpster Dying is the first book in the Hazardous Hoarder Mystery series by Michelle Bennington and the first book I have read by this author. Michelle tackles some deep issues in this endearing tale such as the loss of a spouse, loneliness, and hoarding which she has done well.
This original and fun cozy mystery sees senior citizen Birdie as an amateur sleuth. This quirky character is a hoot and Michelle has written her so well. I often found myself laughing and sympathising at the mayhem going on with her.
With several murders, crimes to solve and finding a good treasure and her hoarder tendencies out of control and let’s not forget the ghost of her dead husband and her just as quirky older sister Oda Dean it’s a wonder Birdie has any time for anything. Birdie is all over the place, but she has a heart of gold and some issues, but she is a smart cookie and a clever sleuth.
The story has twists and turns on the trail to whodunnit along with tears and fears, sadness, heartache and loneliness. There are items to be found and treasured, secrets to be uncovered, and those who are not always as they seem.
I was a little disappointed with the ending. Even though the story revealed the perpetrators, and the murders were solved it felt as though there should have been more.
I really did enjoy the story though and I look forward to reading more of Birdie and Oda Dean.
If you like a good cozy mystery with quirky characters, then you will enjoy this one.

Laramie and Trigger meet when Trigger and his stepdad come into town. They both feel the mating call and for Trigger while he knows what it is he doesn’t know all the details as he wasn’t raised in a pack.
Can these 2 figure it out before the Mating Haze kicks in?
Wilda is a no-nonsense, take-charge time-traveling agent. She is forced to rely on her new trainee because of the times they travel to. This was a story of the wrong place, wrong time, and being left completely on their own to figure out how to get home. Reading how Wilda continues despite her past traumas is a journey on its own. Looking forward to what comes next.

That’s when James Gibson a divorced artist shows up fleeing his life in New York. He is looking for the solace of a small town too. But when he finds his creativity blocked, he is at a loss. Then the two get thrown together on the decorating committee for the Fall Festival, Alice hatches a plan to help them both. Fake Dating. At first it seems like a simple solution to their problems but will these two really fall for each other in the process? What a cute story to end this series on. I absolutely love this small-town world that Libby has built and hope to return to them someday for more stories. 4 out of 5 stars.

I’ll start by saying- I need a Big Red Monster so I can tell it to clean and do things for me! This book has beautiful illustrations and tells the story of the monster who hides under the bed.This monster isn’t there just to scare you, but it needs you to keep giving it chores and things to do so it won’t eat you. Falling Again: A Buckeye Falls Novel by Libby Kay is the third book of four. This book follows Anthony and Natalie. I have to say this was the couple I was most anticipating reading about and I was not disappointed. On the outside looking in Mayor Anthony and his Business Owner wife Natalie are the Perfect Power Couple. They have it all a perfect marriage, adorable children, power, money, and love. But as is usually the case the real story is a lot more complex behind closed doors. As the two have focused on their careers and children they have rarely had time for each other and are more like strangers then a loving married couple. But when the two take a trip to the lake house can they rekindle the love they once had? This is a beautiful second chance romance with all the small-town charm that makes this series special. This story specifically was so special. Seeing such an accurate representation of marriage and life with kids and work absolutely hits different. 5 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed this read! I have a weird fascination with the show Hoarders and I like mysteries – so why not try this one out?! I love Birdie – she is the best character! She is fiesty and funny – with a sense of determination. I can picture her and her sister out at garage sales every weekend – getting excited to find the next treasure. Falling for You: A Buckeye Falls Novel by Libby Kay is the second book of four. This book follows CeCe and Evan. CeCe has a love for all things cooking. But when she left her creep of an Ex she had to escape and find a new start. She found that start at The Diner in Buckeye Falls. Evan is young and is giving Golden Retriever energy. They have an obvious attraction for one another. But CeCe keeps Evan at arm’s length after her messy relationship at her previous job. But when a major food competition comes to town, Evan can’t wait to compete. However, the Celebrity Chef who happens to be CeCe’s Ex has her less then thrilled about the idea. Will she keep trying to outrun her past or will she finally move forward and give Evan a chance? This story is another charming installment in this cozy series. They can be read as standalone but I do love seeing the overlapping couples in this series. 4 out of 5 Stars.
