1897 A Mark Sutherland Adventure (Mark Sutherland Adventures) by Kimberly Mullins is a great historical adventure
There’s the unexplained spacecraft crash landing in Texas, the oil finds in Oklahoma, and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pan for gold in the Yukon.Mark Sutherland, a reporter, want to travel to the Yukon to see the gold rush firsthand. Having studied extensively about the gold rush in California in 1849, he is eager to see the Yukon. Before he reaches his destination of the Yukon, there are more adventures. He covers the day’s happenings while traveling from place to place in his capacity as a reporter. Mark encounters people who become significant in his life while traveling.
Every page had you hanging on every sentence and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. It is a very unique story with even compelling people. The story really transports you into this world. I couldn’t put the book down.
