Not only Jakes friend and neighbor, but being framed for murder of said friend and neighbor. So now Jake is hunting this bold random killer for vengeance for his friend and neighbor and to clear his name. He is dubbed random killer as he has no motive and killing are random. I highly recommend this book as well as the series.
