I love how the author gives us a backstory to give the reader some background before actually going into the main story. Also, the author does give us an important topic to think about while reading the story. The characters are very well developed and they do provide different points of view on the topic at hand.

Book seven in the Grimm Wolves MC series, it is recommended that you read the entire series in order however being the rebel that I am, this is my first read of the series. While there may be overlap of characters and situations, I did not feel lost and was able to connect and not feel lost or left out. Dingo and Celee’s story was packed with danger, action, suspense, and drama. It captured my attention from the first couple pages and I read it in one sitting. Now I must go read the others.

The beginning does have you very intrigued to keep you reading. The author does really well in providing vivid imagery about the scenery and the characters. It does provide you with a point of view from different characters, sometimes it’s kinda hard to tell when it does shift, I had to think for a minute before I read more. The characters are very well developed. The author does provide some insight on what it was like for Vietnamese especially during and after the Vietnam War.

The Crabbing Industry is cut throat and when a dead body is found, but when Sam’s friend is accused can Logan and Sam untangle the mysteries, but as they get further into the story more and more things don’t make sense and people aren’t who they seem to be.
Logan is thrown back into to helping defend a close friend of Sam, will she be able to put her feelings that something is not quite right with the whole story behind her, although she has her doubts she decides to help but as they go through the case, things get stirred up and can Logan survive.
We are thrown back into the world of Logan for the ninth book in the series and this is a wonderfully written thriller which has you guessing until the end and although this is the ninth book you can read them as stand alone stories as the author gives you enough background to understand the relationships. I love the character of Logan she is just a jaded and determined as ever and this book is no different.
This is full of twists and throws you into the world of crabbing, I know who would have thought it was such cut throat with the wonderful characters which enhances the story and draws you in. I hope there are more books to come and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.

The beginning does have a very slow start and in the prologue it does capture your attention to want to read more. It does take awhile to build up the plot. I like how the author puts a lot of information and details about the major and minor characters. Logan is very relatable and she has gone through so much. I love how the author uses and describes the scenery, it is very vivid especially at the art festival.

Another great story that kept my attention. I really hope there will be more books in this series!

Things finally seem to be going in the right direction for Logan. This book has some interesting twists and turns and like the previous books in this series, the writing continues to get better and the story is more engaging. I have really enjoyed this series and while they can be read as standalones, I highly suggest reading these in order so you get the full character history.

This is the first book that I have read of Pamela Gibson and although it is book 3 in the Mission Belles series I read it as a stand alone novel. In hindsight I feel that some background knowledge from the previous 2 books would have helped with knowledge of characters and character development. It took till the last 3/4 of the book before my interest was completely captured and then I found it hard to put down. Elena set out to kill Sean as revenge for her brother’s death but in the end Sean’s sweet nature and the hard truth won her heart.
This is a book I didn’t even realise I needed in my life till it popped up and grabbed my attention. What a wonderfully motivational book to inspire spiritual healing, spiritual growth and development, and reconnecting to humanity and our ‘hearts’. Finding Your Heart is a journal with exercises for self-development, help, and healing. It helps ‘unclutter’ yourself spiritually, make peace with the past, while inspiring you to honour the present. With plenty of creative prompts, positive affirmations, and heart-opening activities this book is all about self-love, self-care, and prioritising ‘you’. Beautiful! “The Heart is a Flower. This series focuses mainly on one person, Logan McKenna. She frequently has to lay it all on the line to solve the mysteries and the suspense is palpable. Lost and Found was an intriguing novel that I’m glad to have read and can recommend to others.

The Catford Catastrophe Zone by Petra Jacob was a lot more intriguing than I expected. I mean I knew it would be good because I was quite engrossed by Ms. Jacob’s ‘Peddling Doomsday’ story- but this book is even better. This has so many great ingredients- from a dystopian theme, futuristic setting, sci-fi elements, thriller-esque details, dramatic developments, a little satire, secrets, agendas, politics, social commentary, rebellion/rebels, mutants, danger, subterfuge, some action, adventure, a DNA-enhanced crime fighter, some mayhem, interesting characters, and a fight for survival. The story wasn’t what I was expecting, in a great way. It was very intriguing, well-developed, and thought-provoking- but as expected from reading her previous book, Ms. Jacob has also set the tension and anticipation on high. The plot is complex, and layered- with a lot more going on between the covers than first meets the eye. As with her other book, the characters were quite interesting individuals who were really well thought out, and all had their own quirks, flaws, and unique personalities. The setting and world-building were great and gave the story a unique ‘feel’. The world-building was really well-crafted- but, in saying that, I think it was the characters who really drove this story, pulling me in and keeping me turning the pages, following along to see how it all turned out in the end. They certainly made it more interesting, for sure. If you love dystopian stories with more than a few surprising developments, then this is definitely the book for you. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Jacob’s work. Happy Reading…

I have read a lot of the Notebook Mysteries series by this AMAZING author so when I saw this new book I did not hesitate for even a single second. I knew that she always creates such fantastic and completely captivating storylines and Mark Sutherland absolutely did not disappoint in any way. The vivid imagery created puts you into those pages and situations as if you were standing right there yourself. No I am not giving any details away. you simply have to read it for yourself! There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you hooked and I really can’t wait to follow Mark on more adventures!

Danger is near and threatening to hurt her. Throw in a crush that is blossoming with Zach Wren and it looks like everything’s is going to implode around her.
I liked this, very different kind of like glee meets izombie with a twist. I think young adults will get a kick out of this one and I liked that CeCe was relatable, definitely spot on for a teenager. Great beginning, I hope to see this becoming a series.

This book was really good. It is the third book in the series. Elena leaves home to go after her brother’s murderer and to find the person that destroyed her family. My son and I have read other Caspian books, and we always love them. He is 7 and I read this book to him, because he was a little overwhelmed with how many words were on each page. I thought this book was super creative and magical. Caspian and his grandpa celebrate is UnBirthday. This year he asked for a bicycle, but his UnBirthday gifts are never anything normal. I love that Caspian had to plan how to make his wish come true, and had to put in some hard work to make it happen. The illustrations are colorful and fun. Great story for young readers.

This is the first time reading a book by this author. I decided to read the book because it takes place during the California gold rush. I would think it was a exciting but also very dangerous time. I thought it was interesting to see Elena was heading into possible danger to fulfill her mothers wish on her death bed. What kind of danger will Elena face as she hunts down the man who killed her brother? The author does a beautiful job of world building and character building. I could connect with the characters and get a feel for what they were thinking and struggling with. Overall, I enjoyed the book and will likely be reading other books in this series very soon.
Well this author definitely has a new fan in me!! This fantastic book had me extremely reluctant to put it down when the family insisted on being fed! LOL! Filled with wonderful characters, who are so relatable, even though you will love some and dislike others, this storyline will keep you completely captivated from start to finish. Sue is one very determined lady and I love her!! I can’t wait to read more from this Amazing and very talented author.
