Intriguing mystery thriller The 9th book in the Logan McKenna series, Lost and Found is an intriguing kidnapping mystery that is full of suspense, suspicion and drama. I am loving this whole series. Logan is a character that you become easily invested with and the author has created a world that is vivid and realistic. Recommend.

Adventure mystery crime thriller This is the 6th book in the Logan McKenna Mystery series and it was amazing. The imagery is excellent, and the author kept me on the edge of my seat right til the end. A brilliant addition to the series. Highly recommend.

One inspirational lady The Podcast Chronicles is an inspirational story. It addresses issues faced by women regarding careers and returning to work after being a stay at home mum. Sue is a great character, she is steadfast and motivated to achieve her goal. The author covers so many topics but delivers them in an engaging and entertaining way. Recommend.

Seriously adored this book! Love a good spicy romance especially when it’s about an adult couple. Roman and Olivia finally get to experience their second chance at life with a partner in their early forties. Life as a professional athlete kept him moving, primped, pressed and primed, ready to go when necessary. Never one to settle down he kept his options open. But when his daughter calls asking for a fever he doesn’t give up the chance to do right by her now that she’s older.
Olivia a fashion mogul on the rise has never considered herself to be “ hot”. But boy is she wrong. With her ex husbands marriage invitation on her counter and two young adults for children she puts her brave face on to attend. This is the 9th book in the Logan McKenna Series and just like the previous books, I enjoyed it. The author has a nice writing style and added just enough details to keep me turning page after page and enjoying the book in its entirety. Logan is the main character and she is helping out a friend and we follow her while she tries to figure out who the murderer is. She is an awesome main character and I have enjoyed reading about her solving Mysteries through this whole series. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!

Once again, Logan has found herself in trouble. While going to Oregon to check in with the school that she’s partnering with, she finds a dead body. Another one. They seem to be attracted to her. The police are convinced they know who committed this murder but they are also in a bit of disbelief that Logan is showing up at all their crime scenes. She does tend to get these murders solved before they do though, so maybe they should appreciate her presence!
Another great read in this series! These can be read as a standalone but I do recommend starting at the beginning so you understand all the people and relationship dynamics.

I am really enjoying this series and each book seems to get better. In this story of Logan McKenna, the reader gets a bit of a history lesson, along with an unsolved murder. No one ever knew it was a murder though, except for the perpetrator. Logan also learns about a half sister that she has and she’s able to meet her. That doesn’t happen without a lot of drama though. This story is very intriguing as there is a link to the past with it. Things also seem to be progressing a bit more between Logan and Ben too. I’m curious to see what comes next!

Necromancy the Musical is a YA Paranormal that will have you turning the pages till the end. This is a fairly new author to me and I wasn’t real sure what to expect going in. It took me a few chapters to get into the story but once I did I had s hard time putting it down. CeCe is a high school student who has a passion for Performing Arts . Her and her best friend get the opportunity to attend a camp to hone their performing arts skills. She is also a Necromancer who helps her detective father solve murders. There’s plenty of drama, magic, twists and turns to keep you reading till the end. I highly recommend reading this to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author

Mission Target is the seventh book in this incredible series. I enjoyed the canine soldier aspect of this novel. Cody is truly an amazing character! There is an exciting balance of serious and deadly situations with plenty of action, a little romance, and a hero who is true to his duty to America. While I don’t understand the call of duty for our hero, I appreciate seeing through Jake’s eyes what makes him feel that obligation. There is plenty of action, mystery and danger to keep you on the edge of your seat. The books in this series do good on their own, but it’s interesting to see these characters develop as each story progresses. I’ve read other books by this author and each one is an exciting thriller!

This book threw me for loop. This story was a bit hard to follow at times due to POV changes and such in my opinion but the base of the storyline was really good. I definitely was left feeling like this author kept me on the edge of my seat. I love a book that keeps me guessing and doesn’t spell it out too easily and early. It’s a short read but it’s a well written story. The characters easily draw you in. All in all a good read and I do recommend it. Four big stars.
This is the first book in Raven Academy series. A well written paranormal fantasy filled with twists, action, drama, lies and danger. All the stuff in a book that you would want. Spectacular world building with vampires, witches and werewolves and more. Definitely in my top ten books for this year. I feel like I am always saying “You won’t want to put it down”, But seriously you won’t! Very excited to see where this new series takes us.

I do not know why this book isn’t being talked about all over social media. I absolutely loved it! I have been in a bit of a rut with fantasy books for the past several months and this is exactly what I needed to bring me out of it. The author did a fantastic job with her world-building and creating curiosity surrounding the shadow bringers. I felt this was such a unique perspective to write about the fantasy/supernatural genre. I look forward to more.

This book pulled at my heart from the start. Hope and Adam will definitely steal your heart. There’s just about everything you could want in this story. Yes it’s a story with loss but the outcome is beautiful. The author writes a beautiful story with hard subjects and it’s done wonderfully. There’s times I had tears running down my face but there was also times of laughter. The author balances it well. It’s got a nice pace never felt rushed or drawn out unnecessarily. I’d definitely recommend this story to anyone and give it five stars.

I am so happy that I stumbled on this amazing author, Celia Hart, and this wonderful book. These characters are so compelling and well written that I felt like I was completely in the story with them!
Jasmine has always been the good girl who listens to her controlling parents, but she starts to rebel when she meets Blake, the extremely yummy soon to be alpha of her wolf pack. Though they aren’t destined mates, they feel comfortable around each other and have a mutual attraction between them. I absolutely loved this book. One of my favourites this year. The author did an amazing job building the world and all that’s in it. The author combined a bunch of creatures from Vampires and werewolves to Witches and those that are known as the Shadow Bringers. I was hooked from page one. Riley was always the perfect child, never broke any rules and it was nice to watch her come into her own and stop caring about what others want her to do, doing her own thing instead. She is strong and will do anything for those she loves. I cannot see what the group will do next in this next book in the series!

Angela Lam is a new to me author and I wasn’t sure what to expect but the blurb on the book sounded really intriguing. The author usually writes woman’s fiction and from what I’ve read this is her first foray into writing a suspense/thriller. I don’t know about her previous work but I think she fits into this niche very well. I enjoyed this book very much from start to finish and I’m interested in reading more from this author.

Reckless Love is the fourth installment of The Bennetts of Langston Falls series. Although this novel can be read as a standalone with plenty of reference to the past, I highly recommend reading the entire series. The characters are lovable, relatable, and draw you in from the very beginning. This slow burn, forbidden romance, introduces you to Becky and Glen. Becky doesn’t know much more than taking care of her brothers and father since her mother’s passing. She is lonely and longing to enjoy someone special for herself. Glen carries baggage from his past and is eight months sober. He is falling for the girl he knows he can’t have most. Can the two of them move beyond the past and make this relationship work? Or will someone get hurt in the meantime?
Fletcher writes her novels right from the heart. Speaking to touchy topics such as addiction, sobriety, and the hurt it can cause not only a person but their surrounding loved ones. She is devoted to her characters and her readers. Every time I pick up one of her novels I know I can count on taking the journey right along with her characters from beginning to end. I have not read a KG Fletcher novel that I did not like. I highly recommend, not only Reckless Love, but the entire series to all romance novel lovers. You won’t regret it!

I absolutely loved this sweet holiday read. Lizzie is down on her luck but is still there to help out her best friend when she needs her to. She ends up taking her non refundable ticket to Australia and decides just enjoy the holiday and regroup. She doesn’t plan on being hit in the face with a kids football. That football to the face was the best thing ever. She ends up meeting Jaz…the father of the kid who hit her. The very hot father!!! Jaz and Lizzie end up becoming friendly and hang out a few times and then Jaz invites her over for a holiday bbq lunch with a few friends which she accepts and that is when their friendship turns into more. What’s the harm In a little holiday fling when there’s an expiration date ? Usually there’s no harm in that unless feelings become involved which they clearly do. Great holiday read for a quick escape from the real world.

I lost my mom to cancer a little over a year ago and Finding Your Heart is the exact type of gift she would have given a journal lover like me. I stumbled across this at the perfect time. I loved the artwork on each and every page and thoughtfully selected quotes throughout. My favorite were the pages that encouraged coloring as this is one of my best stress relieving techniques. If you’re looking for something to remind you of the little glimmers that life has to offer in a world of triggers, Finding Your Heart is a great choice.

This book is so good! Once again a wonderful dystopian novel. The only issue I had while reading was the different POV’s. They were not separated very clearly, so I had to re-read in order to figure out which character was narrating.
However, the characters were amazing and well detailed. I was frustrated with Frankie all the way up to the very end. I have to say Zac or the twins were my favorite characters. I know, they are on opposite ends of the spectrum, but they have their individual quirks that I love.
Overall I would highly recommend this novel to anyone who loves a good dystopian read. This is on a different level and includes my next favorite genre as well, which is Sci-Fi. A very fun and unique read for anyone looking for something different and quick!

This was my first book by this author and what a way to start! It was such an addictive book, and I couldn’t put it down. I ended up reading the entire thing in one day. The beginning can feel a bit slow, but I promise you’ll want to soak up all the information and dive into the rest of the book. Riley was raised in a very safe community which seems what you’d hope for yourself and your family. But she is completely and utterly bored and that can make for a dangerous position. Will Riley be able to stay safe, or will she finally find her way out of this boredom? This suspenseful fantasy is one you won’t want to miss! I am on my way to pick up the second book and continue this adventure.

This is the 4th book in the Bennets of Langston Falls series. Although this can be read as a standalone, it’s well worth reading the entire series to getting a deeper understanding of the characters. I enjoyed the author’s writing style; it flowed nicely and brought the characters to life. I got emotionally invested in their stories, their pasts and potential future. I love characters who show development as the book progresses, and in this instance both Becky and Glen show this development (I particularly liked that Glen’s development didn’t just start in this book, it can be found previously and ties in brilliantly). Their pasts and what they experienced come into play how they initially act and try to rebuild lives and relationships. It was encouraging to read, and I found myself rooting for the pair increasingly as I read on. This was a well-written and at time emotional read that tugs on your heartstrings. The characters find ways into your heart and you can’t help but want them to succeed. I really enjoyed this book, but I do think you get a better appreciation and understanding if you read the entire series. You don’t want to miss out on everyone else!
