A Christmas Amish Courtship was such a great book! I loved that she added some Amish words and that you could picture the community. I also quite enjoyed that it wasn’t just a basic love story, you really get to know the characters as people. I can’t wait to read the next book! Highly recommend this series.

This is a great book for parents wanting to teach their young children how to keep their dogs from being board. The rhyming scheme keeps the book simplistic, but interesting while the pictures are beautiful and full of adorable dogs. Porter and Midge are two adorable pups who explore the world with their human companions. While the foursome are out exploring the world together, the children decide to ask others for suggestions on how to keep Porter and Midge engaged and happy in life. The suggestions found in this book could also be good suggestions for young children to try with their own family pets to try and find new ways to spend time with their furry friend.

This is the perfect easy-to-read Christmas romance book. The story is easy to follow as you learn about Anne and her family values, the previous ties to Andy and what he is willing to do to get close to her. There is everything from family loyalty to forgiveness and setting aside personal feelings to see your loved ones be happy. A quick and easy read with a sweet ending. This clean romance book will bring a smile to your face. I definitely recommend reading this sweet book. It is part of a series but was easy to read as a standalone as well.

This is an absolutely fantastic duet that you simply won’t be able to put down!! Auctioned: The leading lady of this story , Bryanna, is dragged into a dangerous and volatile situation in order to protect her family who she cares very deeply about. Along comes seriously dominant and deadly gorgeous Damian to find and rescue her. This is so not in her plans when she has her family to protect. Immediately Damian is not only wanting to protect Bryanna for the sake of his job but also because of his instant attraction to her. Bryannas very obvious submissive side calls to her brave protector.
I think the fact that there were times when I wanted to bop the main characters Damian and Bryanna up side the head for not just talking to each other, shows how creatively the wonderful Author Via Mari formed her characters to make us care about them. They have heart and depth that just makes you want to keep reading. The book presents both characters sides of the story all the way through giving us much better insight into the various situations that come along.
Relentless: Relentless Brings us the story of Layla, a very strong willed determined woman, hiding a genuine soft tender side, who is looking for her sister and the man who killed her cousin. Along comes the Super hot, determined and VERY dominant Dereck. He wants to protect her and be with her but knows she is hiding things from him. Lies is one thing he does not tolerate but at the same time he knows trust must be earnt, he just hopes he can earn her trust before its too late.

Damian is part of the elite group of Billionaire Bodyguards who’s job normally takes on the mundane of the rich and famous but when he is enrolled to find Jenny’s niece who has vanished can he keep his feels in check long enough to find her.
Omg I loved every word and was engulfed into this world hook, line and sinker. First off Damian has been added the ever growing list of book boyfriends and my god he can dominant me anytime he wants lol. The start of the story slows draws you into the world that Bryanna has been brought into and with the secondary characters this brings this world into the for front. As the theme revolves around the seedy world of sex trafficking it is written with sensitivity and humanity. I loved the strong, brave characters of Bryanna and her true spirit is shown within the story and with the Damian characters just add that bit of spice and sexual chemistry that sizzled underneath and when it finally exploded it was brilliant well scripted writing.
Relentless – Book 4 When you are caught in a world of total control and no way out, can a knight in tainted armour rescue her from this dark world?
Layla is an independent woman, she takes no crap but there is a secret which haunts her but can she survive in this world or will it all come crashing down around her.
Dereck is part of an elite security team but when he sees Layla he can not get her out of his head, but can they both forge ahead and because friends as well as lovers.
This story is full of drama and intrigue which the chemistry of these two characters jump off the page and with all the tension and underlining story makes this story fly off the page. These characters are well developed and full of passion and dark secrets which are brilliantly to read and discover. As this is in a series it would help to read the other books but this can be read as a independent story but to be fair who would not read this series.

We got to see both sides of the coin so to speak. In the first part we have the relationship of Jay and Sasha. Jay is head of security for s billionaire and Sasha is a ballet dancer. Even though he looks tough and had the tough guy demeanor, he has a soft spot for Sasha. She as a character has a hard time deciphering it, but we as readers can see it clear as day. She gets herself into a pickle and gets on the wrong side of the Mafia. That brings out Jay’s protective side and there is nothing that he wouldn’t do to protect the woman he loves. In the second part we have Matt and Marenah. Matt is undercover and has been captured by the Chicago Mafia. He and Marenah meet when she is also captured. Her grandfather belonged to the Russian Mafia and she landed in some hot water when she went looking for answers. Due to how they treat women being held, Matt makes it his mission to protect her. But she has secrets that could mean the end for her and whoever she is cohoots with. When they make an escape it seems they are free, but that is just not the case for Marenah. Now she has two targets on her back and has to figure out how to stay alive. This was a good book and I didn’t want to put it down! I like how different authors approach writing about Mafia families. They are all very similar but each one has their own take on what goes on behind the scenes. Even though he could see with his very own eyes that Jade was doi g Naseer good, he was plotting a way to get rid of her for good. Although they fought like any normal couple, maybe a bit more due to the age difference, they were determined to be together. I did enjoy this book and if you pick it up I hope you do as well. I did find it slow going at first but once the story picked up and started flowing it was hard to put down. This was a great 5 star read. This couple and their story pulled me right in. When Curtis sees something he shouldn’t have his world gets turned upside down. When someone from his past, Lina, is brought in as security, things get very interesting. I devoured this book wanting to see what was coming and if Lina can keep him safe. There is suspense, mystery, romance and so much more. All of the characters added a great element to the story. New book, new year. Makayla is back for her third year at the Grave Digger Academy and it is worse than ever. Attendance is down, professors and students are scared and transferred out but Makayla is forced to stay. The crones do not trust her and want to keep her under their thumb. The school is in lockdown with a whole new set of rules, no one is to leave the premises. Not only that, but the crones think Makayla is too inexperienced to harness her legendary helpers and is forced to find a more ‘normal’ one.
This book is a lot slower paced than the previous two in the series. It was kind of like a montage of Makayla learning more about her potential and working on herself to get stronger. I liked how the author actually wrote about the struggle and the work Makayla put in. A lot of times, the main character is just all of a sudden super powerful and at full potential which makes for an unrealistic arc. I really enjoy this author’s writing. I am excited for the next installment of the series!

After a couple days, I finally Finished all the stories in this anthology. It’s Hard to pick a favorite buttttt, I think Searching for Thanksgiving by S.E Smith might be the one. I’m going to have to go read the Dragonlings of Valdier series. So I can see more of these characters. The second Choice would be 🤔 Wicked Beginnings by Stephanie Harrell.but truthfully i think there is something for everyone. I would highly recommend reading this mix of books. It won’t disappoint. You will definitely find an author you’ll like and will want to read more of their books. 🥰
A Knight in Peril by Alice Bienia, is a thrilling mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat. From the beginning the story my curiosity was piqued and kept me guessing what would happen next. The fast paced murder and mayhem make you not want to put the book down until the end. This is book 6 in the series but can be read as a stand alone novel.

I had my nieces over today and I had them read this story for bedtime. 😀 I had got the other one for them, and they loved it! Just like they enjoyed this one very much. I loved the artwork on this one just like the last one also, colorful and realistic looking. All the cute dogs. The ideas that were given to help dogs enjoy playtime were awesome. This is the first anthology I’ve read that I enjoyed each story within it. Two of my favorites were Wicked Beginnings with chemistry that popped off the page, and Magical Mayhem that made me laugh at times with the Halloween shenanigans! This book has definitely helped kickstart my festive spirit right in time too. There are plenty of adventures, mystery, romance, and some paranormal themes throughout these stories. While I have heard of some of these authors before, I was introduced to a few new ones which I am incredibly excited about! I can’t wait to look up each author and see what other adventures I can take. There is most definitely a variety of stories for everyone here, so don’t pass it up! I highly recommend this collection of holiday stories.
Passionate, suspenseful romance with a twist This is book 4 of The Echo series and it was engaging from the start. With rockstars, bodyguards and twists and turns, I was held captive right through until the end. I love how the author bought a fresh take and reversed the roles in this one. Curtis and Lena certainly provide some sizzle as their chemistry oozed off page. If you love spicy romance with action and a dabble of humour then check this one out. Highly recommend.

I love the aspect of how people can communicate and understand Gaia, Earth, and how they do what they feel is right and important to do. I also thought it was cool that both Gaia and Adelphi communicate to lead the way. Unfortunately, since they are doing something new and “changing” things, it’s going to cause rifts and irritate some of the wrong people. When things go down, it’s always important to know who is in your corner, and I think this story has a very good way of conveying that idea and fact. Watching this group of women band together to protect their future… is an amazing ride!

Recipe for Revenge is book 2 of An April May Cozy Mystery Book series by Hazel Smith. In this story, we follow April May, a reporter who lives in the small town of Laurel Lakes. Everything is going from bad to worse when what starts as a robbery ends up with its owner being presumed dead. This is a fun cozy mystery. The plot is entertaining and keeps you guessing. We also get a fun cast of characters including the cuteness of Ralph the dog. This is the second mystery I have read by this author and she knows how to keep you hooked. Extra credit for good, fun small-town vibes.

A Christmas Amish Courtship is the third book in the Amish Courtship series by Jennifer Spredemann. This story is a second-chance romance that tells the story of Anne Eichner and Andy Stoltzfus. Anne and Andy have both had their hearts broken. Andy decides to take a chance and starts to write to Anne as her secret admirer. This was such a sweet and clean romance. I love Amish romance and this book was a welcome addition to my collection. I loved the interaction through letters and was so excited/nervous for Anne to find out who her admirer was. This book had such good character building and kept you interested in the romance of Anne and Andy. I was invested in them. This book is one for those who love a sweet, clean romance.

Lauren and her friends take a tour of an old theater that is closing and find a unexpected surprise, another ghost. Problems begin to arise at Amberwood Hall Ballet though and someone seems intent in sabotaging another with the help of a ghost.
What a fun read. I think this is great for tween, young adults. Fast paced and kept you guessing as to what would happen next. Will definitely check out the other books in the series.

Three of the bodyguards have fallen and Matt’s story had been my favorite until I read this one.
Damian falls hard and fast when it come to Bryanna. I’m not sure if it was their circumstances or if he just knew she was the one. But we all know that love isn’t no matter the situation.
Bryanna is extremely brave and loyal, almost to a fault but she is fierce when her heart is all in.
Relentless
Oh my goodness, she’s done it again with this great story. I love Derek and Layla so much and was a little sad when I finished the book.
So much happens starting at the very beginning and it never let’s up. Between the sparks flying between Derek and Layla to the revelations close to the end of the story which I totally didn’t see I couldn’t stop reading.

April has moved into her grandmother’s late house after having it willed to her. She’s more accustomed to life in Chicago but she’s getting adjusted to Laurel Lake but only temporarily. Weird things start to happen around her and then there’s the mysterious notes being left. Will April open a part of her past that she may not be ready to deal with?
This was a very enjoyable story. I loved Buddy/Ralph and his role in this story. There is one overarching theme in this book with several little offshoots which make the reader want to come back for more!

There is some great potential here ! I really respect the imagination & hard work that went it to this . There are many moments of profound emotional awareness & intriguing thoughts .
