Miles is a shifter and does not believe the lore of fated mates until he sees Alexa at the bar. While Alexa is battling between her heart and mind when deciding what to do, her past comes back to haunt her. Will Miles be able to find her and keep his mate safe? And will Alexa realizes not everyone is like her ex before it’s too late?!?

I enjoyed this story. I have ready other books by Brooke May and enjoy her writing style. This story had a little twist on your average shifter romance and I found it interesting. I am excited to see what the rest of the series has in store!
