Cole and riley continue their “affair” in book and comes to a close. It feels so similar to another store I’ve read I had a hard time “ getting into it “
I was left torn in two yearning for everything this book could be but disappointed but the repeated actions. However I suppose it coincides with the fact that they are high school students. They sure act like it.
The storyline was promising I just felt it was lacking and could’ve been really robust.

This was a quick read and enjoyable. The spice is not as detailed as other books so I’d rate a 3. It gives hints of reverse harem but she clearly states she won’t take all of them on and needs to “share” with other women
I enjoyed the portion of them being cursed and the story it reveals. However, the finesse was lacking.
I sincerely would’ve loved if it was longer. But if you’re interested in reading something short simple and sweet this is the book for you.
Selene has been bouncing around from job to job since she graduated college with her degree. A great adventure awaits when Craig and Linda get to explore the maze and free Princess Sheona. Of course, their parents aren’t happy about their previous adventures but feel like it’s safe to let them go diving since they are nowhere near Nessie.
This book is geared more towards emerging readers and is a chapter book. I love that this author writes across a span of age groups for kids. Her stories are very engaging and full of adventure. There are oftentimes scientific angles to the stories as well!

This is an extremely fast read, at only 52 pages, but to be honest, I wasn’t ready for the story to be over! C.A. King is a very talented author with fascinating characters and amazing otherworldly settings. The Gravedigger Academy was the first series I read by her and I decided then I wanted to read more of het work, so I picked this Supernatural read up.
We start by meeting our main female character, Selene, whose life just seemed to implode as she looses yet another job and goes home to find she’s being evicted. She then begs her friend at the career center for help, where Selene discovered a job listing for a remote island that sounds intriguing. This is where the real, somewhat steamy adventure begins.

Savage Truth is the emotional ending to Cole and Hannah’s story and the second book in the Hidden Valley Elite Series. I just HAD to get this after reading and loving the prequel and book one. I definitely recommend reading them in order, as they all tie together. I was really looking forward to this and Isla did not dissapoint! She will keep you on the edge of your seat with this roller coaster, ready to see whats next. I recommend this to anyone looking for a new enemies to lovers romance with a lot of extra spice!

Sooo I’m a first time reader of this talented author Alyndra Quinn, but definitely not going to be my last🥰. This story was really well written and caught my interest from the beginning. This story has some intriguing tropes in it. Brother’s Best Friend, Opposites Attract, Off Limits, BDSM I mean what’s not to love 🤣. Don’t even get me started on what level of spiciness this story is. I think the pacing was decent for me. I really can’t wait for the next book so I can see their happily ever after. I also can’t wait to see if the other side characters in the book will get their own 🥰fingers crossed. I will definitely recommend reading this story.
This was a thrilling 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. Finlay is working undercover to try and break a trafficking ring. When a dangerous man starts to show interest in her, things take a scary twist. Drake works with Shadow Defense and he was sent to find her, will he be able to keep her safe? Will she be able to break the case? We get so many twists and turns my head was spinning. We get suspense, danger, and so much more. The author does a great job with her writing and you don’t want to put it down until you’re done. If you like dark suspense thrillers this is the series for you. Just a little haunting that’s all, or is it? Divinely Dramatic has a lot going on. And I enjoyed what the author was presenting but it did get confusing at times. Giving the read characters with so much depth that are also gifted. Gifted in a way that they have a special ability. Reading auras, connecting with the unknown, ect. Reading this book was a happy accident and I’m glad I took the chance. Marcy has been given an opportunity that could go very right or all kinds of wrong. She’s been drafted by her friend to costume a play in her absence. What she wasn’t expecting was a floating white aura and a possible connection to a 50 year curse that she’s determined to figure out sooner rather than later. However once she’s cast in the play in the very role of the person who died she’s determined to come to a conclusion. Mike lost a bet. Now he has to direct a play not of his choosing. He’s going to do everything in his power to make it successful. However, between Marcy throwing off his senses and unusual happenings around the theater, will he succeed? There’s also the matter of his girlfriend. Art imitating life. It’s hitting rather close to home, meaning their presence and the entity living through similar experiences. The author gave the reader an interesting adventure. One with laughter, happiness, sadness, and love. I look forward to checking out more books in the future.

A lot gets unpacked in this book, and the author does a good job of unpacking it and bringing it all out to where you can’t put the book down. Riley finally gets the truth about her biological father, who is not a nice guy and gets to lay this part of her life to rest. Now on to college!

Wow! What a massive book! This def took some time for me to read, but it was well written, and I felt like the world-building was done well. I thought the character names were kinda cute; you have Basil, Anise, Watercress, etc. I loved the spin on the fantasy tropes involved; and just all around thought it was a good book. This was a fun loving entertaining read. This isn’t a genre I would normally read but I am glad I took a chance on it. There were some terms I didn’t know in this book but as I read on everything was explained very tastefully. This story was about family, love, relationships, friendship, great characters and so much more. Molly and her polycule were happy and when she met Lacklan she couldn’t help but feel the attraction. Molly had bad experiences in the past when she dated men so since then she has dated women. Lachlan isn’t looking for a relationship but can’t help but feel the attraction he has toward Molly. This is a must read if you want to know how this story turns out for these two and for the rest of The polycule. I can’t wait to read what the author has in store for us next.

Dark Sky at Dawn is the first Volume in a 5-book historical fiction series, Free Men and Dreamers. This is an amazing start to the series. L. C. Lewis uses vibrant world building to show the reader what life would have been like in America leading up to the War of 1812. I was transported to America in the early 1800s, rode along with Jed tasked with the difficult duty of purchasing slaves off the boat from Africa in order to build up the Willows Estate, and overheard corrupt conversation in England between those interested in taking back America. Lewis’s writing drew me in from the start and had me reading until the wee hours of the morning. Her characters are so strikingly realistic that it seems as if she must have time traveled to create such characters. As with other books by this author, it feels as though L. C. Lewis has done countless research into the time period. From romance to slavery, secrets to spirituality, corruption, greed, and war; Dark Sky at Dawn has it all! This book created such powerful emotions within me that it was difficult to conceal my thoughts while reading. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!

There are so many layers to this story that had you wanting to reach out and hug Piper. I thought Bax was perfect for Piper, she has so much she is dealing with. Terrific chemistry, you are rooting for this couple during all the twists and turns during their journey.

I was hooked from the prologue of this book but it quickly vanished and I found myself wondering when this story would end. I love a great mystery book and I love music so I was questioning what I was missing when this story just stalled out for me.
This story is set in 1976, the day after Christmas. There were several things, which the author discusses in the appendix of the book, that just didn’t fit within the time frame. These really threw me off while reading this and took away from the book for me. While an author has the right to defect from historical accuracy, I personally felt like it took away from the story.
I also felt like parts of this story dragged on forever and several things felt like they were on repeat for me. I realize my review is unpopular opinion, as several people really enjoyed this story. I felt like it could have been 100 pages shorter and still accomplished the same outcome.
One thing I did like about this story is that I agree with the conclusion that True North came to in the end. It was the right thing to do considering all the circumstances.
Please don’t take my review as the best, as previously mentioned, my review is not of the popular opinion. It’s an enjoyable story but it took me much longer to read this one than most books in this genre take me. I had a hard time staying engaged in the story but did read it to completion.

Hay Goes Home is another cute story from the Adventures of Cray series. It’s Hay’s mom’s birthday and he is bringing Cray home for her party. They meet a lot of other animals in the forest along the way. The illustrations are adorable. My 8 year old easily read it to me, but had some questions on the big words on the last page (affirmations, imperfection). The book is filled with positive messages, such as asking for help is okay, and encourage kids to be brave. These books are great for preschool and young elementary kiddos.

Beach Ball Blunder is a cute children’s story. My son enjoys the rhyming books and all the animal characters. He likes that each character in the collection has their own book, but reappear in the others from the author. The illustrations are amazing and so colorful. This story is probably my favorite, since the message is so important and one that every kiddo needs to learn how to handle- being honest with your friends and seeing how a lie can quickly get out of control.

I really loved this story. After reading the prequel House Valdis Origins: Xenobia I was super excited to dive into this series and boy this story did NOT disappoint. I cannot say enough time and time again the story-telling that this author does is unique and I love how this book totally had me sucked in from the first page to the end. Multiple POVs are used and you really get to know each character and how they are embedded as you turn each page. This book was hard to put down and I cannot wait until I dive into book 2.
Xenobia is a protector and wants to come do right making sure women are safe and not being targeted or abused. When Xen rescue’s a girl named Maggie, this opens up a chain of events that could possibly put her in danger if anyone truly found out what she is. Can Xen keep everyone safe when they need her without exposing to much…
This is a great urban fantasy story and I highly recommend this book. Fantastic Read!

In this book we meet two characters named Zachary and Ashton. Ashton is actually best friends with Zach’s brother. He’s been there for her thru the last few years and he’s been her rock. How will he feel when his brother sets his sights on Ashton and wants to make her his? Is Ashton strong enough to put up the demands of such a strong Dom such as Zachery? Ashton is such a strong character when in a work setting but outside of that, she is the total opposite. The book took me a few days to get through. It wasn’t one of my favorite reads. It was on ok read for me. Kinda a bit bland. Looking forward to the next book to see if it picks up a bit.
This Sci-Fi Fantasy is intense and will have you hooked with the twists and turns. I love strong leads like this one. Xenobia is enlightened enough to understand and appreciate the fact that she is different than others. Her past experiences taught her to be extra cautious around others, limit the amount of people who know about her abilities and never show her true colors.
I found the introduction of a wolf shifter and vampire quite intriguing and Xenobia’s personal response to them had me chuckling.
I enjoyed learning more about Xenobia’s world and abilities, as well as those belonging to the other supernatural beings. The meditation and dreams sequences were also a bit trippy which I enjoyed.
I hope to read more from this author since I enjoyed the last two titles. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

What starts as a hook-up between Piper and Wyatt (Bax to his teammates…and pretty much everyone else) quickly takes on a life of its own thanks to their friends that can’t let things be. Even though Piper isn’t ready to open up herself to a relationship after her last one…Wyatt is a patient man. However, as things seem to be progressing nicely, Piper’s insecurities and familial pressures rear their ugly heads and threaten it all.
I enjoyed this story. All the characters from the first book make an appearance (including ones I didn’t want to see again…you know who I’m taking about). Piper is smart, witty, and fiesty…and Wyatt is the man to make sure she doesn’t stand in her own way! You don’t have to read the first book to read this one. A good story that I couldn’t put down til the end.

I have been loving the sports romance books lately and this one did not disappoint. These are college age kids, but they don’t seem young. Piper had a tough day after failing a test and just wants to have a drink in peace. When her ex shows up to try and take the seat next to her the hot guy she has been eyeing in the bar mirror steps in to take the seat saved by her purse. Wyatt is a football player on the college team and can see that she wants the guy gone. They chat and when she is ready to leave he walks her to her car, or the backseat of his truck. The heat is on from the beginning and Piper and Wyatt are only supposed to have one night. Piper refuses to give him her number but he can’t stop thinking about her and how amazing she is. Wyatt really wants to get to know her better. Piper takes a picture of his phone number but is refusing to use it because she has been hurt in the past and is not ready to trust a man. They run into each other a few times and he spies her at his football games. The story line was fun and Piper is sassy so it was a great read! I didn’t know this was the second book until I started reading reviews. I just purchased the first book so I can read Callahan’s story too!

Hay Goes Home is a wonderful children’s book that children of any age can enjoy. My almost six year old son loved this book and the colorful illustrations brought the story to life. This is a cute story about Hay and his friend Cray and their journey to Hay’s moms birthday party. But along the way they encounter some obstacles like overgrown plants and a river. With the help of a new friend and each other they get through the obstacles together. This is a sweet story that shows children that working together and bravery and asking for help will get you through most things. I highly recommend reading this book and we look forward to reading more from this Author.

Another fantastic read from Lois Wickstrom. We follow Carrie as she discovers the things that her grandma left behind. I love the relationship between them, it reminds me of the relationship I had with my grandma. Highly recommended.
This was a good 4 star read. This is the first book in the series and I was pulled right in. Ashton and Zach give us quite the story. I love Ashton’s sassiness especially when it came to the dominant Zach. Ashton has an interest in BDSM and has a club in mind.What she doesn’t realize is that Zach is a shared owner and has plans for her. And the things we learn about the BDSM lifestyle was intriguing. Can Zach and Ashton keep business and pleasure separate? Will Zach finally open his heart to someone? And being a hot billionaire Zach quickly became a favorite for me. There are some spots that did get a little slow but for the most part I enjoyed the book and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.
I absolutely loved this book. Everything Hidden Mischief had to offer was exactly the type of book I was looking for this weekend. There’s passion, strength, independence, loyalty, love, and even laugh out loud moments. The author was able to pull the reader in immediately. It was just an exciting story I never wanted to end. Ashton finds herself attending a “munch.” There’s things she’s trying to understand and discover about herself, while not letting those closest to her know. She didn’t expect that her best friend’s brother would be the one who helps her along that path. But it’s more than just the BDSM lifestyle between them. Not that they believe it. Zachary is known for his tough exterior, but that is not all he is. Ashton finds out easily how true that is. When business outside of the club ends up on a collision course with pleasure Zachary is at a loss how to handle it. He’s respected and sought after as club owner and member but now to Ashton. Does he want her, yes. Does she want him, absolutely. But she’s throwing him off his access and he doesn’t know how to handle those feelings. It’s something he understands or has ever experienced. Does it work out for them? I didn’t want to stop turning the page. And I was rather depressed when there were no more pages to turn. With some twists and turns the author keeps the reader on their seat, during Ashton’s path of self discovery. And I can’t wait for more!
This is the continuation of the first book Gathering of the Four. Could be read as a standalone but I highly suggest going and reading the first book you won’t regret it. This still follows the Four main characters Leora, Aurora, Leopold, and Roland and their journey learning about what was kept from them. I think Leora might be my favorite but check back with me after the third book 🥰 it was a slower read at times but I think reading to the end was worth it, we definitely get some questions answered. But then we also get left with need to know more answers lol so I can’t wait to see more of this Incredible world. I’m looking forward to the next one.
