Sugar and Spice is the first book I’ve read by Phoebe Alexander and I cannot wait to read more! Sugar and Spice is the first book in the Spicetopia series and it was a great way to start. The characters are fabulously flawed and realistic. The growth of the two main characters, Jolie and Cy, is refreshing in a spicy romance. There is drama, romance, connection, and just the right amount of spice. It makes you think twice about what happens behind the scenes at family-friendly parks! While the majority of the story takes place within the park limits of Sweetopia, I felt the world building was spot on! I could see the distinct difference between the regular employee areas and the opulence of the management areas. Overall, this book exceeded my expectations and the ending made me anxious for the next in the series!
