Cricket Adams had her mate and their young son when he mate was taken away from her. Years later, Cricket feels the mating call again, she is terrified of what it means a second mate. Can she open her heart to another man?

Boone Claw feels the call and heads towards Cricket. Boone senses that Cricket is not going to take the claim as mate easily and Boone is determined to find out why. Will he be able to accept his mate or is this mating doomed to fail?

I really enjoyed this one. I felt for Cricket because she is torn on what to do. Boone was terrific, he was so sweet with Cricket. Great story, looking forward to more in this series.
