Amy’s Betrayal is the second book in the Gemstone Massacre series by Julia Goldhirsh. This urban fantasy is a bit of a twist on the Arthurian legends- which makes for an original read.
Woven with magic, danger, drama, assassins, paranormal elements, action, violence, elementals, an inclusive LGBTQIA+/gender fluid cast, agendas, friendship, gems, rebellion, good vs evil, and vivid world-building.
There is a lot going on here, with a rather large cast of characters, so I highly recommend reading the previous books (Prequel & Book #1) before starting on this one, as that will allow you a richer reading experience of this book, as well as the series as a whole.
Another great adventure/instalment in the series- I wonder what Julia Goldhirsh has in store for us next.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Julia Goldhirsh!
