Five Tries to Get It Right by Kathryn Dodson – Review by Chelsea Pletcher
Five Tries to Get It Right by Kathryn Dodson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Two women, looking to heal and reclaim their youth, travel around the world revisiting places from their past. Lydia, a retired teacher, trying to start fresh, and Kate, a former businesswoman, trying to end it all, are both dealing with grief in their own ways. In a last-ditch effort to fix what they have lost, they travel around the world, reliving their twenties. They soon realize that what they were looking for isn’t what they really needed. Dodson provides a perfect story of love and loss and gives the readers a very unexpected happy ending.
