What a powerful story! I was initially pulled in by the beautiful cover, but upon reading the synopsis, I knew this would be an emotional journey. Little did I know just how emotional it would be! It’s a beautiful book about friendship and how crucial that bond is during times of loss and depression. I loved the travel destinations and the journey of finding themselves through it all. The characters were incredibly easy to relate to, and I felt like the flow of the story was smooth and unfolded naturally. There were some unexpected twists and turns that I won’t give away, but they definitely surprised me! I highly recommend picking this book up and letting yourself journey alongside Lydia and Kate. Maybe you’ll find kinship with them as well!
