Flying at Recess by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Shea Gilkerson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lulu, Zanie and Soara are best friends that do everything together – except recess! When it’s time for recess, Soara takes to the skies! She plays in the clouds and she twirls and bounces through the skies. No one else except for her best friends can see Soara when she flies at recess, and she always comes back in time for class…except for the day she follows the butterflies to the meadow. When she hears the recess bell ring, she flies high to see how to return to school, but there are so many schools and kids out for recess. When she spots her friends as they return to class, she knows she has found her way. Beautiful illustrations and a cute, quick, imaginative story for little minds.
