This is the sequel to Secrets in the Mirror by Leslie Kain. We learn more about the after effects of a traumatizing childhood. Gavin has Complex PTSD and it obviously effects his family as an adult. It’s heartbreaking but Katie’s character is my favorite this time. You get to learn more about her and see what it’s like as the wife of someone suffering like Gavin. Anyone who has been in her position, will easily relate. It’s definitely going to be an emotional read but absolutely worth it.
