We are introduced to Greer, who is an orphan and has dreams about a dark knight. She wakes up on a ship, not knowing how she got there. Her last memory is standing on the corner of a street, and everything’s goes dark, until she wakes up on a ship surrounded by 40 other women.
Theron, once a prince in the underworld, until something or someone gets him banished. Having made land, he must continue with the next phrase of his plans.
Greer, will also risk everything for him and her friends.
This is a beautifully written story with a paranormal and historical setting, set in the mysterious New Orleans.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I would most definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys History and the paranormal, that has twists and turns throughout.
Cannot wait to read book two!
