This trilogy is absolutely fascinating and will be one of your best reads of the year! With the action, drama, and fantasy, there isn’t anything the author left out.

I think C.L. Schneider created an absolutely stunning realm in this series. While I am so sad to see this series coming to an end, Magic-Borne is a dazzling read! This has been my favorite fantasy series in such a long time. C.L. Schneider has an incredible way of wrapping you in their world and making you feel at one with each character. She is one of the authors that I follow very closely so I don’t miss anything! Ian has been through the ringer, and this is the continuation of his fight. The amount of action, magic, romance, and endurance that you can feel which means you’ll be right there alongside the characters the whole way. Be sure to start from the beginning of the series because this is a very detailed story with amazing world building and in-depth characters. I highly recommend this entire series because it is just mind-blowingly epic!

This is the first book I have read of The Merciless Few MC Series and actually the first I have read from this author. I can happily say it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed this storyline with Reaper and Avi right from the very start. Reapers quick connection with Raven, his little Tater Tot, was so adorable. There is a lot going on and a definite Villain that you will absolutely 100% hate right from the first meeting. I will reading more of the Merciless Few for sure.

This is a great trilogy. I recommend reading these books in order to have a better understanding of what’s going on. These books are full of magic, fantasy, action, romance, death, adventure, great characters, mystery. world building and so much more. I have left reviews on the books separately as I read them. I’m not going to recap the stories but I will say the author pulled me into each story and kept me captivated with the attention to detail I felt like I could picture everything. I had a hard time putting each book down, as soon as I finished one I needed to jump right into the next one so I could find out what happened next. I don’t want to give anything away, be ready to be taken on an adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed these books and I think you will too.

Soul Mate, Soul Sister and Alpha Males. Great combination to keep me hooked. A story about a controlling government, food rations, separate communities, god curses and various hardships under a cast-like system. A different world with different rules and of course there is always a villain. Ebony Landry initially did not want her soul mate but her soul sister. Once she met Lark, a Soul Hunter, she starts realizes there can be another possibility for her. Through his eyes, she slowly starts to see herself. She is worthy of love. Will love be enough to help her with the difficulties to come? I can’t spoil it for anyone! This book kept me hooked on the danger and travels from LA – Vegas – DC and finally Texas. The characters are unique and a great read.

An enjoyable and engaging lighthearted romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Lucy has had a crush on the gorgeous bad boy rockstar Jesse Kingston since they briefly met years before. When they meet again and Jesse suggests they spend a weekend together Lucy decides to indulge her fantasies. However, one weekend may not be enough for either of them. This is a fun, flirty romance with plenty of humour and laugh out loud moments. The chemistry between Lucy and Jesse sizzles off the page and leads to some rather steamy scenes. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

This is a MC romance from an author that I havent read before. I love MC romances and I enjoyed this one just as much. This story is a gritty read full of twists and turns that keep you guessing. As it is an MC romance it also shows the strong relationship between the brother in the MC. Their bond is unbreakable which I love. I also love how members of the group are very much alpha males. They love hard and will protect what they care about against all odds.
In this story we meet Reaper. After finding out the woman he loves is cheating on him, he ends up being involved in a accident which pretty much destroys the other lady in his life, his bike. As he starts to recover he struggles to overcome his fear of getting back on the bike. As well as steeling his heart against anymore romance he also needs to figure out if he can rekindle the passion he once had for riding his bike.
Avi is a woman who needs to escape. Her life is filled with abuse and torture and she needs to escape with her little girl to live with her brother and start a new life. Little does she realise that her brother isn’t the same person as the one that left her. He is now a major drug lord and a very powerful person. Now she needs to find a safe place away from her brother and the person she meets is Reaper.
This is a story of two people who are damaged in their own way. Both of them are scared to let anyone in for fear of being hurt again. But together to reignite something inside each other that neither of them can deny. This story was a captivating read and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I was in love with this book from the beginning. Gaelan and Caitrin were intriguing. Enter Anne and a whole new amazing character is revealed! The final plot twist, I did not see coming! I cannot wait for another book by Barbara Barnett.
Like any amazing story it all starts with a book. Andrea finds in it the library and it sparks her desire to find Atlantis. She never knew what she would find there but a trip through a doorway at the bottom of the ocean brings her to new friends, her mates, and a tournament she just has to win. This book is so unique and so fun with the perfect amount of steaminess. I knew right away that I would have to read the other books in this series. I love the relationships between the characters, they are so well written. Andrea is a great female lead as is written with so much strength. I really enjoyed this story.

This one is not what I expected out of an MC. Yes it has all the clubhouse raunchiness, attitude and they deal in pretty much anything. There are only four guys plus the prez so not a lot of different people to remember. They have the family attitude and it was a bit weird to see/watch Sam and Lucifer. I was surprised she would volunteer to be in the wet T-shirt contest (just seems out of character for the club mom).
As for the story I liked the idea of it. The female MC has struggles and shows she will do anything to survive. At times she has sass and while I get she was a bit miffed at her brother the way she blew up on him from the beginning made me wonder if his attitude towards her reflected that. I did like her story because she never quits.
Overall this is a good story with a lot of action and drama. On a personal level I really do not understand that Frankie. Good thing we did not see him being nice so we only know him as a monster.

I first picked up this book because the cover caught my eye. I kept reading this book because once I started, I couldn’t put it down. This story is absolutely fantastic, right from the word go. I was pulled in straight away and drawn to the characters. I thought they both went through so much character development. You could see their world expanding with each page and that just made me connect with them even more. I thought the story really did them both justice too. It was exciting and really well written. I was hooked from the start and could not wait to see how it would end. I am so excited to read the next book in the series and I hope it is just as good as this one!

This is a fun and engaging booked about a child’s first day at school. Joe is desperate to learn how to read and this book is all about the adventure he goes on to try and satisfy this need. Both my kids are big readers so they found it fascinating to watch Joe on his mission. For me, the illustrations in this book are what make it as good as it is. They really bring the story to life and make it feel like you are on the adventure with Joe, not just reading about him. I always enjoy a book my kids connect with, and this is definitely one of those. A fantastic story and I am sure it will be a household favourite.

This is the second book in The Apothecary’s Curse series. I have not read the first book, but it did not hinder my enjoyment of this one! I loved the historical mystery. The author’s way of telling the story is magical and so interesting that I did not want to put the book down. I will absolutely be reading the first one and then possibly this one again to get the full effect. That’s how good it is. Gaelen is a compelling character, and I had no trouble whatsoever getting wrapped up in his story and adventures. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this one!

You feel like you are living the adventure right alongside the characters. This trilogy is a must read!

Wrecked is the first book in a new MC series and the first book that I have read by this author. I was intrigued by the description of the story and couldn’t wait to discover the characters. This is a book that is full of angst and tension. The characters each come with their own type of baggage and need to figure out a way to try and make things work between them. I thought the story was well written. Not only is it exciting to read but it sets the scene for the rest of the series really well. I already know this is a series I am going to enjoy the whole way through. I liked the authors writing style. It seems really suited to this type of book. I am looking forward to seeing what else she has to offer.

May continues to amaze me with her continuation of the Predator series. This is Noah’s story and tragedy has struck his life. Bijou is a small town widow struggling to keep the youth center she and her late husband dreamed of running and providing for their small town. When fate intervenes and pushes these two together, sparks fly and wounds are opened and healed. I really loved this story and though it did take a little bit of time to get into, I really loved seeing Bijou’s story and struggles with not only losing her husband very early on in their marriage, but now having to raise a tween girl on her own. I also loved seeing her relationship with her bestie, Mara. Again, May has outdone herself and I can’t wait to get my hands on her next book!

This book definitely shows the trials and tribulations one goes through when they like another but is afraid to give things a try. The way this story is written is beautiful and shows just how real life people and relationships go.

I absolutely loved this little novella about Scott and Beth’s story. It’s way more heartbreaking than you could have ever imagined but the redemption at the end for Beth is *chef’s kiss* and the way Scott fights for her is swoon worthy. I was so exciting to finally get to read their story and May did not disappoint with the spice or the drama. I’ve loved Beth’s character from the beginning of the series and to finally get her story was awesome. You don’t necessarily need to read the beginning of the series to understand this book but it will definitely help if you read Predator Parts 1 & 2. I cannot sing enough praises for this series! The third book in the Predator series does not disappoint. I have NOT read the first 2 books but this book is Scott and Beth’s story. Beth’s past has not been easy by any means, and Scott is just waiting patiently on her to open up to him about all that she has gone through and had to deal with. While training her as a boxer, Scott develops deep deep feelings for her and just hopes that she will open up and give him a chance.

First let’s take a moment to appreciate this gorgeous cover….. my favourite of the series, so far! Murder In Prospect is the fifth intriguing instalment in the Eve Sawyer Mystery Series by Jane Suen. This series just gets better and better with each new instalment, and I really enjoy following Eve along as she unravels some puzzling little mysteries. We join Eve Sawyer, who sets off to support her friend, Bob, who has recently lost his beloved uncle. Things don’t quite add up – and Eve becomes suspicious about the events leading up to the Uncle’s death. And as we’ve come to expect, murder and plenty of trouble seem to follow Eve wherever she goes. What happens makes for an engrossing read. Murder In Prospect is another great little cozy mystery – well woven with clever little touches that kept me guessing. A story of crime and investigation, friendship, amateur detective/s, a whodunit feel, agendas, a plot for revenge, suspense, drama, danger, interesting characters, secrets, lies/deception, tension, and a small-town setting. This story could be read as a standalone. But, I highly recommend reading the previous books, as there are some spoilers for other book/s contained here – while the other books also provide some great little mysteries to untangle with character details, development, and other relevant information which will certainly enhance your appreciation and enjoyment of this book (as well as the series as a whole). Magic-Price C. L. Scheider outdid herself in this magical book of perseverance and tough life decisions. It reminds the reader to think before you act. There are consequences to every wish we make in life. I love that this story takes us through Ian Troy’s life, showing us where he was before he found the Crown of Stones and how he feels about being a magic user. This is the first book of the series. I highly recommend it. I couldn’t put it down. Ian is a magical and sword fighting man. He has women constantly trying to be with him. He was in the war 10 years ago that he trying to forget. But someone returns and makes him relive some of the moments he has been trying to forget. I cannot wait until book two.
The second book just keeps getting better. Like the first I highly recommend it. Ian has everything taken away from him, after he captured. He has to fight to keep alive and learn who to trust. Can he do or does he give up? Ready for book three.
This is the last book of series. It was just as great as the other two. Ian has to time travel to fix past mistakes. He needs to try to save himself before he can save everyone else. Is he able to do it?

I am a huge fan of Brooke May’s books, especially The Predator series. I was so happy that this book is all about Noah’s story and that we get to know his character on a deeper level. This story starts immediately with a tragedy, which had me in tears from the first page. After reading the Prologue and learning of the tragic occurrence that befell Noah, you get to read all about our new characters including a widower, Bijou, and her daughter Claire, who run a community center in their small town in Georgia. After the tragedy Noah experienced, he moved his family to this small town in Georgia, where he went to heal. What a beautiful story that unfolds as Noah and Bijou meet and work together to improve the quality of the community center. I was so excited when some special characters made an appearance from the past Predator series, no spoilers on who, but know that the storylines do continue with some little hints as the storyline goes along following Noah’s new life. After reading books 1-3 in this series I was excited to start the fourth. Back in the Ring was a well written, easy flowing, spicy, fitting addition to The Predator series. Bijou and Noah are both single parents who after losing their significant others have continued on raising their little ones, but when they meet each other will it all work out for good, or not? I enjoyed reading their story very much.

This author is one that I never pass up because they write marvelous and engaging stories! This is the third book in The Predator series, and it has been absolutely incredible so far. I highly recommend reading the first two books in the series before jumping right into this one. There is plenty of background you’ll want to learn about to truly experience this one. Not to mention that you’ll be extremely addicted after the first few pages. Just like the previous two, I couldn’t find it in myself to stop reading for even a moment which may have led me to walking straight into a wall at one point. Other than the bruise from that, I have zero bad things to say about this book! It may be a quick read, but I promise the author does an amazing job providing all the details of a much longer read. The spicy chemistry is magnificent, and I fell in love with the characters all over again. If you’re looking for an unforgettable contemporary romance to get lost in for the day, look no further!
