I really love the message of this book. How the mouse never gave up to try and reach his goals. Also I really enjoyed that the book has rhyming words. It made the storytelling not only flow but so much fun to read. The artwork was very cute and had a lot of Vivid colors, which really caught my little ones eyes. They enjoyed the story immensely. They liked seeing and naming the animals and making their sounds. I look forward to reading more or the Adventure of the Mouse Traveler.

I feel like I ran to read this second book. After a cliffhanger like that I immediately knew I had to come finish it to see what happens between Kate and Chamberlin. Just like the first book I felt like I devoured this book almost instantly lol. Also like the first one it’ll have your emotions all over the place 🤣 but I feel like this book made me love love love Chamberlin even more. This author always knows how to write a captivating story. I truly can not wait to read more from this author and this series. If you haven’t read the first book I highly suggest you read before starting this one.

I don’t know what is with these King Brothers. They are some stubborn, hard-headed j3rks. I get it. Kellen is so mired in his own grief that he can’t see. But, the way he treats Salem when is doing nothing but trying to help him is sooooo wrong.
So this book picks up about 6, maybe 8, months after the end of the Cruel King. Kellen is trying to be someone he is not. His brothers are growing frustrated and weary. Kellen takes off for a long weekend. On his weekend vacation, Kellen meets a mystery woman. He is immediately taken with her but she wants to remain anonymous. What started as an ONS becomes a supposed weekend of passion and fun. When Kellen receives a phone call from his brother demanding he return to NYC or the brother is going to cut him off and fire him, Kellen does something so phenomenally stupid that children 30 years from now will be saying, “Don’t pull a Kellen!”
When Kellen returns to the city his problems explode and his brothers demand that a fixer is hired to assist Kellen with his issue. When his fixer walks through the door, it is Kellen’s mystery lady. Now because of the couple of days they spent together, the fixer has to take a different approach with Kellen. Kellen, at least, knows her name now, Salem. Kellen angrily rebuffs all of Salem’s efforts to assist with his problems. Kellen yells, screams, stomps, kicks, calls names, and tantrums like a 2-year-old, but doesn’t get his way. Salem will remain his fixer.
As one can imagine, things heat up. Salem tries to do her job. Kellen blocks her path whenever possible. Then, Kellen tries a different tactic and actually talks to Salem. A friendship develops. When an emergency strikes in unusual circumstances, Kellen and Salem have to learn to work together. This opens a whole new avenue in their relationship.
This is an emotional read. This a fast read for the number of pages. This is another fantastic read in the series. This read a little spice, some LOL moments, some cry your eyes out moments, and much more. Jump in now before you are too many brothers behind!! 😁

This book is a three in one! It has- The Gift, The Commander’s Club, and Once in Love. Each one is it’s own short romance erotica that are all super steamy, dom/sub, and bdsm stories. You start off with The Gift, which is a librarian secret admirer fantasy. Penny is a librarian who started getting gifts left for her at work. They are scandalous and left with them are notes that shock her, but at the same time turns her on. After receiving an invitation to meet at a hotel she can’t help but go to find out who this naughty man is. She’s both excited and shocked when she finds out who’s behind her reddened skin. She finds out submission can be fun and powerful! Next comes The Commander’s Club, a book about Courtney who is a journalist undercover. This is the second book in the series. This author really knows how to world build. Sometimes when an author weaves a story that is so unique, you kind of get lost as to what is going on. That is not true here. Nicole E Kelleher is a fantastic story teller and is amazing at getting you invested with the details of her story and her world. I loved the romance, the banter and the twists. There’s nothing like a good paranormal book in my opinion and this fits that totally!

I am loving booking set back in time. This one was set in the 1800’s! You start out meeting Nico and Matty when they are in their teens. Matty sneaks over to Nico’s house after being beaten and bruised by his father. Everyone has witnessed his abuse and Nico’s parents (Suzette, Isaac, and Walter) decide to do something about it. They take him in to bring him back to health. Nico cares for Matty while they plan on what to do. Nico and Matty fall for one another, but are torn apart. A Priest takes Matty away to hide him from his father and Nico must move on with his life. Matty is taken to the church and Nico starts to study to become a doctor. Hoping one day to come back home and run the practice for his mentor Nico dives into his studies. While away at school, Nico meets Eden who is a nursing student. She wants to do more with her life than be a cattleman’s wife, but she’s not sure if nursing is it or if she wants more. Eden and Nico fall for each other while attending school and go home with happy news. Wedding bells are in the future! But when they go to the church to see the Priest they find Matty! All grown up and back home to deal with his dying father’s affairs. What a reunion this is going to be!!! Eden is in the middle of a first love and she’s not sure where all their futures’ are heading. Such a great book. So well written with the three main characters. Keep in mind that this is a MMF book. If that isn’t for you then just move on from this one. If you don’t mind it then grab this book! It’s sad, full of action, scary, steamy, and just all around a wonderful book. I can’t wait to read more of the series!!
This story was packed full of so much! It was a rollercoaster for sure. There was action, mystery, drama, feuds, and so much more. I swear the best stories come from small towns. I believe this is the first story I have read by this author. I will definitely be reading more by her. I also cannot wait for the sequels to this series. There were plenty of twists, turns and shocking revelations to keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire book.

There’s more to Gillian then they all realize and she’s not going to make it easy for her captures. She will stop at nothing to save her brother. She just has to escape the clutches of the wretched dragons. The more time she spends with them, the less she thinks she knows about them.
I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, filled with action, intrigue, mystery with a splash of romance. Plus who can go wrong with dragons? Gillian was a wonderful female main character. She was stubborn, brave, strong and determined. The way the author wrote the character was perfect. She wrote in great detail, flaws and all. The author also put their own twist on a couple of classics. There are both Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast vibes like mentioned in the synopsis. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

This was a super short story. I read, no devoured it all in one sitting. That’s not to say that it was lacking. This author knows how to pack a lot into a small amount. It did however, leave me wanting more. I likely would have said that if it were 500 pages long. Sinister Styx has a way of telling a story that always leaves you begging for more. Read the trigger warnings, as this can definitely be a triggering story. If you aren’t bothered by those triggers, I highly recommend reading it. There is so much emotion captured in such a short novel. A great read for sure.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book so I was rather excited to settle down and get lost in between the pages of this one ….
Lexie is living a quiet life , raising her daughter , earning her PHD , kindling a new relationship , running her book club , life seems good .
She gets a surprise visit from her sister Gayle whom she’s not seen in years , there’s a peeping Tom at their bookclub that then turns up dead on her lawn and it turns out he has mob links 🙈them her sister drops a bit of a bombshell and is on the run again.and I think I may have more questions than she does 🤣🙈 there’s a mystery to solve and it seems our book club members have their own secrets 🤔
There were a few plot twists and unexpected moments but all in all a good read that let me “ escape “

What an incredible anthology! This collection of steampunk horror tales is by far one of the most gripping and interesting reads of the year for me. The cover was intriguing and drew me in without fail. I picked it up without reading the synopsis but once I did, I knew I had to dive in immediately. After opening the first page, I realized that there was no turning back. I lost an entire day devouring this absolutely magnificent collection. You could absolutely read a story and put it down for another time, but I have no self-control! Phenomenally unique stories that have a common theme, but all differ from each other. I don’t think I can pick a favorite because they were all exceptional. I highly recommend picking this up if you enjoy the Lovecraft and Wells vibes!
This is a fun and entertaining read. I enjoyed the story and the characters. It has some nice rhyming and I like the name of the farm. The pages are filled with colorful illustrations that would keep any child captivated. I was surprised at the ending and wish mouse all the luck at grabbing some cheese.
This would be a good book to read to a younger child or a quick read for an older reader.

Taste of Honey includes three stories all containing adult content and are very spicy reads, definitely not intended for a younger reader, so be forewarned. I loved that each story is a short read, but the storyline is so in-depth that you don’t even realize you’ve already gotten to the end until you’re there. It is so encapsulating, and what a great ride they each take you on, leading you through the dark world of adult content where most do not normally go except in a book. The characters are all very different in each of these stories, yet they all have a similar theme of trying new things that they never saw themselves trying out, but that appeal to their deeper desires than they ever thought possible. I love that the steam factor in each of these stories is just the right mix with the storyline, making it important but not all-encompassing, allowing the reader to enjoy each character’s build-up and background stories. This book has such a beautiful story being told that I believe most readers will enjoy. If they do not immediately come to love the sweet and loving family of Nico, then they will soon adore the introduction to dear Eden.
The story shared a bit of Nico and Marty’s past before following him to medical school. He soon meets the delightful nursing student, Eden. As their friendship turns to new love, Eden notices Nico’s secrecy behind a story of betrayal from his past.
I loved how the story dove into the progression of Nico and Eden’s relationship, then the introduction of Matty again. Clearly this author knows how to express what an open and caring relationship can be amongst a family, no matter if they are blood or not. Family can look like many things and no one family are alike.
The steamy scenes were a brilliant addition to the story and not at all distracting from the true plot.
I enjoyed the historical aspect of the book and it truly created the perfect setting to balance out the story.
I love how this book identifies the problem and then breaks the solution down step by step. It’s so easy to read and follow. This is real life application without all the fluff that you normally get. If you are trying to lose weight or just quit bad habits and start good ones I would definitely recommend this book.

Having read the first book in the series, I was excited to see what this one had in store. I loved the chemistry between the characters, which was evident right from the word go. They had a clear connection that was believable, even if they tried to deny it was more than it was. The way the story developed was so exciting. The author really seemed to expand on the storyline she created in the first book and pulled me into it all so much deeper. I was drawn into the story and felt like I went on the journey with the characters. This is a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

This is a unique collection of short stories by 13 different authors. Most of these authors were new to me and it was a pleasure to read their stories. Each story is different and unique in their own way but they all are thought provoking . Each story is to do with time and the effect this has on our life’s and the dangers that happen when we try to control or change time. All the stories deal with chaos, destruction and madness. It gives you an insight into the danger that could happen if we were to give into the madness. Some of the stories I found a little hard to get into at first but I am so glad I kept reading else I would have missed out on some amazing stories. This is definatley a book you could settle down with a lose yourself and lose hours of the day as the stories twist and turn. I couldn’t put it down the stories were so gripping. I will definitely be keeping my eye on some of the authors in this anthology to see what else they produce. If you love stories that are so thought provoking that they mess with your mind, contain twist and turns that you don’t see coming and keeps you hooked for hours then this is definately the collection for you. There is something for everyone in this anthology.

Read the trigger warnings; some of those themes are pretty heavy. I don’t have triggers but I sure did bawl a couple moments, the situations were written so well, you empathize with characters and it breaks your heart reading their stories. I could not even believe a few things I read, leaving my mouth open in shock, which makes me NEED to read the series to get more details on the what, where, who, when etc
Wow! This is the first book in this series and it was fantastic! Katie and Chamberlain fall in love fast and hard! Chamberlain is a fighter nicknamed The Predator who is trying to go pro and meets Katie, and she turns his world upside down. You can feel the love in this couple, and the passion and spice are out of this world! Can’t wait to read the next book!

Holy cow!!! No words can even describe this book. This went from cute and tame one chapter to run for your life the next… to the point where I literally screamed “WHAT THE HELL” at work. (Thankfully no one was around lol)
A veil comes down and separates Selene and Rayden. Selene is taken by warriors and brought to a new world. She has to go through trials that Sirius trains her for to stay alive and earn her place, which she does and Sirius claims her as his. After everything her fiance Rayden is captured and then their journey begins with her trying to get Rayden back to safety.
The world Karli Rush made in this story is one I would never want to be in… I wouldn’t even know how I would handle it or what I would do. I am not sure how to feel about this book, but one thing I do know is, I can’t wait for the next one.

This is a short story that has a very Romeo and Juliet feel to it with a twist of Greek/Roman mythology mixed in. I really enjoyed it…it is a very short read (like 15 minutes); however, it captivated me and I was invested until the end. The range of emotions I felt for Ivy and Falcon were from hatred and anger to sympathy and heartbreak literally within the span of the 28 pages of the story. The fact that Styx can develop the characters and the plot within such a short time is nothing short of amazing. There are twists and turns that you are not expecting and I was very pleasantly surprised at the ending. This is a very graphic story so PLEASE check the trigger warnings before you read if you need to. I look forward to reading more from Sinister Styx.

The Gift: When I first started this book I was intrigued. The whole secret admirer and setting up for what could have been a good story. Now though, after reading it, I am not sure how I feel about this one. I love a good BDSM book, but I like it to be realistic in certain aspects. I understand it is just fiction, but one of the big important parts of BDSM is that the sub gives that power over to the dom, it is not taken or forced on them, and that is how their interactions were once they met face to face. The FMC didn’t have a clue about BDSM whereas the MMC did, and instead of communicating with her about it, slowly teaching her and confirming she was ok with it each step, so on so forth, he went straight to “I am your master you are my slave” and did what he wanted with her. There is no real story or plot, just a bunch of random things tossed in between spicy scenes.
The Commanders Club: This started off as a reporter going undercover to start sub-training. She did all this to try and save her co-worker, Laura, who she thinks got kidnapped. Even though Courtney had done research, signed a contract, and knew what she was getting into she still fought the sub-training, and not in a bratty way. After finding out her co-worker was safe she had to stay and continue to be trained. Even though she was turned on she still fought the training, even though that was the only thing that could save her. This one has more of a story than there was for the first.
Once in Love: There was an attraction between the MFC and MMC right away. She wanted him to buy her at the auction and had high hopes for him… in bed. When he left she was disappointed but was shocked when she found out someone bought her. They enter into a BDSM relationship that was supposed only to last the summer, but they end up breaking all their limits/self-protective rules. One thing I liked is how patient he was with her and helped her learn new things. She also didn’t fight it, she signed up for all of this and played the part very nicely.
Altogether it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a plot/story then this wouldn’t be for you but if you are just looking for pure smut then this would be perfect!

Blood & Ravens by A.D. Brazeau was very well written. The flow of the story, the POV of each character, and the way the story unfolds in my opinion was top tier.
Greer is a smart and resourceful. Theron isn’t what I expected but it made the story interesting. I love enemy to lovers books and this one hit the mark. I cannot wait for the next one.

Casting Vows (Hearts of Gold Series) by Ariella Talix is a great historical romance series
Nicolo Stark-James has a deep love for someone, but he discovers that there are vile people out there who would do anything to destroy it. Matty Remington is confined and needs to be safe. He needs to balance his love for God with his own desires, even if he has a deep faith and a compassionate heart. Eden Godwin may be the one keeping them all together, but she doesn’t get to choose what happens to her after this. She must choose between being loved and keeping her family afloat.
Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. The story really brings us into their world. I couldn’t put the book down.
I found it to be a good story. The story did have it’s beautiful moments even as it dealt with loss and other issues. I found myself unable to connect with the story. The characters seems to be developed well. I felt there was a lot of detail. I do feel that fans of sci-fi, fantasy would like this.
