This was the first series I had read by this author and they did not disappoint at all. As a lover of fantasy, I couldn’t resist this series. In book one we meet the main character and discover that he is able to wield magic, but that he is also afraid of losing control. The author did a great job of describing the pain he is suffering.
For book two, Troy has now been imprisoned due to his magic using. Troy is trying to make peace with having used magic, all these years.
And finally in book 3 we have the electric conclusion to the series. Troy realizes that the stones need to be, but there destroyed in order for things to free the people in his land.
