It’s Cool To Be Kind by Shermaine Perry-Knights – Review by Jenni Bishop
It’s Cool To Be Kind: A Children’s Book on Kindness and Friendship by Shermaine Perry-Knights
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4 stars
Kindness is an important value to teach children from a young age, but it seems to be lacking in today’s world. Although this book is intended for children aged 7 to 9, the lesson is important for everyone. Being kind doesn’t cost anything, and it brings about positive feelings. It opens up opportunities for developing social connections and strengthening friendships, which come in many shapes and sizes, whether you are young or older.
“It’s Cool To Be Kind” not only offers a story but also includes games for children to enjoy at the end of this engaging picture book. It is a book worth sharing.
