Night Sweats and Hockey Nets (Hot Flash Hookups Series) by Sylvie Stewart and Marika Ray – Review by Kelli Harper
Night Sweats and Hockey Nets by Marika Ray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I am absolutely IN LOVE with this series. What Sylvie and Marika have done here is fantastic.
Older woman (well early 40’s) going through perimenipause and a widow to top it off, has decided it is time to find herself again. Having been a caretaker for her ill husband (who she had grown apart from before they discovered his illness) she has lost herself. Now after a HUGE move to Tampa, she is looking for fun and to get back to the things she loves.
Single dad, fighting for joint custody of his young daughter, Nikolai is a mountain of a man. Goalie for his professional hockey team and from Russia, his Russian sayings are misunderstood by many. Nikolai needs a nanny to help him with his daughter while he works and Chloe, a former teacher, has agreed to help him.
There are parts of this story that will have you laughing out loud, and there are some super steamy parts that will have you fanning yourself. Nikolai and Chloe are a wonderful pair.
ABSOLUTELY loved this story.
