The Fixer (Fall River Series) by G. K. Brady – Review by Kerry Carr

The Fixer (Fall River, #2)The Fixer by G.K. Brady
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Fall Rivers series. This is a very entertaining enemies to lovers romance set in a small town. There is drama, angst, family, and plenty of tension and chemistry, as two people who are complete opposites find themselves placed together.
Joy Holliday is a city girl, who returns to the little town to sort out a property that has been left to her. All Joy wants is to tear it down and move back on with her life. However things aren’t straight forward. Joy needs to bring the building up to standards if she wants the sell it (tearing it down isn’t an option) and this is how she meets Charlie.

Charlie has fallen in love with the building and wants nothing more than to restore it to its former glory, however one thing he doesn’t want is to deal with the attitude of the now owner.
Can they work together at least until this project is complete? And is all the attitude and animosity between them hiding a spark that threats to burn them both?
This was an enjoyable read and I really enjoyed the tension and connection between Joy and Charlie. Even when they seemed like the worst match ever somehow it just works.
