Having read other books by this author, I was excited to see a new series. This is the start of a great romantic series, focused on two people who really shouldn’t have a connection with each other and yet it is there and undeniable either way. Their chemistry, and the push and pull between them was interesting to read about
I thought the overall story was thoroughly enjoyable. I liked how it set the scene for what felt like not just the book for the series to come. I was invested in the story the author was telling and wanted to know more about the characters. For me, this is a strong start to a new series.
