Evil’s Whisper is the first book in the Evil Saga by Jordan Elizabeth. This is a bit of a dark paranormal fantasy- with action, adventure, secrets, lies, deception, abduction, and challenges.
I found the synopsis of the story to be quite interesting- so I snapped up a copy and dove in. I love a great epic fantasy, and this has all the promise of hitting that mark- but unfortunately, for me, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. There were a few issues that made it hard for me to connect with the character/s, or invest in the story- leaving me wanting at the end.
But this could just have been a bad reading day for me- so I have put this on my re-read list to revisit in a couple of weeks to see if I still feel the same way about it.
I am interested to see where this series is headed, so I will keep an eye out for future additions.
