What an intriguing read! This story follows Sandy, Becca, and Faith. Life in the 60’s was so very different from what it is now. These three ladies find themselves pregnant and are sent off to what is called a maternity house. Back then, this is what happened if you were unmarried. You would be shipped off there until you give birth, give your baby up for adoption, and then go back home and pretend nothing happened. And that is what happened with these three ladies – until years later they become victims of a blackmail plot threatening to uncover their secret.
