This book follows Callie and Brandon, childhood friends, who reunite in adulthood. This was a slow start for me and did not fully capture my attention until further in the book. I did enjoy the past scenes and getting glimpses of how Brandon and Callie were together as kids, it reminded me of my childhood crush. Brandon had such a sweet vibe to him and Callie was a bit tougher than i anticipated her being but she grew on me. She had really been through some hard things and it was nice to see her come around and open up to Brandon. I really enjoyed seeing how the characters have changed with age and how they both overcome obstacles in their own ways but end up on the same path. Overall this was a fine story to read but not a favorite for me although it does have some of my fave tropes.His Forever Muse, The Echo Series, C.R.
