Izzy is a reporter bent on writing articles for sale about the local Mafia in Las Vegas. Lorenzo is the Consigliere for that same Mafia and wants nothing more than to stop her in her tracks. When they collide, sparks fly but can they trust each other?
Opinion
If Via Mari writes it, I read it. Mari is my go to author for when I am in the mood for a Mafia romance. The way she is able to convey a dangerous world but make the women feel so protected in it amazes me. This book is no different. With this book, Mari is able to show her skills in bringing together people who shouldn’t make sense. A journalist and someone who routinely breaks the law should not get along but they do. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to more.
