Lev is the stoic bodyguard, ready to protect the Prince Fynix so when Fyn met Bridget on the private his life has not been the same. Although Fyn is happy with Bridget, she bring baggage with her in her best friend Daphne who is the royal pain in the bum to Lev. Can the grumpy bodyguard become friends with this annoying American or will they kill each other?

Daphne has become a staple at the Palace but when a brief encounter with the grumpy bodyguard leave her frustrated and confused, so when Bridget and Fyn go on honeymoon Daphne has a secret and can’t go home she decides to sneak into the private villa of Fyn but unbeknownst to her, Lev is relaxing there. Can they put there away there dislike for each other aside and realise that there is actually an attraction.

This is the second book in this series and although this mainly revolves around Daphne and Lev you could read this as a stand alone story but if would be advisable to read the first book as it gives you the background the characters and how they have together.

The chemistry from the two main characters jumps right off the page and opens up Lev as a character as in the first book he is very shut down person but you get at more of the history and how his family become involved with the Royal family in Lovolia. Daphne was a strong character in the first book but this book shows the vulnerable side of her which it seems not many people see.

The twists and turns that occur in the story, keeps the story moving and flows brilliantly. The secondary characters enhances the book and with the beautiful descriptions of the landscape you feel that the land is a character all of its own. I can’t to read the next book in this sequence as you can’t leave the ending like that, I need to know me.
