Historical romance is not typically my go-to romance sub-genre, but I don’t often see a polyamory style historical so I thought I’d give it a shot.
I liked the premise, and it has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to fully connect to the characters. There were a few places the dialog felt awkward, and the overall writing felt somewhat formal rather than entertaining.
Despite that, I’d say it was a good reading experience, just a few hiccups here and there. And for people who really love historicals, this would likely be a good read.
